Jack blinked, glancing down at her. “You awake?”
"I'm awake.."
“Do you feel better?”
She sighed. "Eh.."
He frowned, planting a kiss on her head. “Will you take your medicine?”
She sighed, moving off of him. "Yeah. I guess."
He gave her a warm smile. “That’s the spirit.”
"Does it taste bad..?"
“I wouldn’t know.”
She frowned. "I'll still take it."
“There’s my girl. Sit up, okay?”
She nodded, doing so. "I like being your girl."
He murmured appreciatively before bring over a small vial of a clear grey liquid.
She squinted at it. "Ugh."
“It’s gpo for you, baby.”
"Okay. Let's get it over with."
He passed it to her, returning to his place on the bed. “Down the hatch.”
She groaned, before quickly tilting her head back and taking it.
He waited for her to finish. “Was it really so bad?”
She paused with a frown before nodding. "Tastes bad."
