“Sure you would,” he replied, kissing her lightly. “To make me feel better.”
"No, I'm not lying."
“Mmhm. I’m sure.”
She rolled her eyes before planting a kiss on his forehead. "I'm not."
He smirked, his eyes still closed. “I love you.”
"I love you too," she said softly. "I really love you."
He murmured slightly, sighing as he buried his face in the side of her neck.
She grinned his back gently, humming softly again.
It didn’t take long for him to fall back asleep, his tired limbs relaxing around her.
She continued to him quietly, her voice soft and low as she carefully laid back.

Avice seemed surprised, her brows furrowing in concern. "Jack?"
