"They do," he said, kissing the top of her head. "But... I don't know. I didn't feel right about letting them get wet." He frowned before gently prying her arms away. "You don't want to hug me right now. I'm all wet."
She looked up at him with a frown. "Fine.. You should go change while I peel an orange. Do you want one?"
She smiled softly, brushing back his hair gently. "Be right back," she said, taking the bag into the kitchen.
She went to the kitchen, taking a minute or two to peel and pull apart the oranges, placing the slices in the bowl before returning.
When she returned, she would find Jack fast asleep on the bed, his wet curls dark against his white pillow.
She paused before smiling softly as his figure, going over and kissing his cheek softly before returning to her side of the bed, proceeding to eat the oranges.
Jack twitched as she began eating, but didn't open his eyes. "You smell like oranges," he murmured, half asleep.
She chuckled, relaxing once she had finished the oranges as she nestled herself in his arms, falling asleep easily.
~9 *squee!*ing months later~ Avice awoke with a start, her eyes bleary. She could sense something was different.. She looked down, realizing her water broke. She flapped her hands in panic before taking deep breaths, turning to Jack. "Babe?"
