He watched her with a small smile before stretching. "I have to go resolve some situations," he said. "Want to come?"
He took it and when he stood up and found himself face-to-face with her, he kissed her quickly. "Fun for you," he mumbled.
"Hmph. Well, supposedly, one of our crewmates has found herself pregnant, and she's not sure who the father is."
"There's two options," he said tiredly. "Either A, I can do some detective work. B. I can run some medical tests."
"Eh. The medical tests take longer, but the detective work means I have to talk to people. And they're not like you, Avice. I don't generally like them."
"But, Jack! It's like a murder mystery! Murder of free time and happiness, y'know? We gotta figure out who caused it!"
He laughed as if she had surprised him with her words. "Hm. Fine. I get the feeling that it will be much more enjoyable with you."
He cocked his head. "Wait a minute," he began. "Why am I Watson, and you're Holmes? I've been doing this longer than you."
