He cleared his throat before nodding and standing up. "Well... well, I bought two. I wasn't sure which color you'd like."
He opened a linen bag and hesitated before pulling out two feathers. One was a deep, rich blue, like the one she had previously worn. The other was a brilliant red and it shined in the evening light.
She was quiet, looking at both of them in wonder and adoration. "I don't know which one I like more.."
She pursed her lips before picking up the red one gently. "I'll just use them both on different days."
He took the red feather from her gently and fixed in her hair, his hands gentle. "Am I doing it right?"
