"Tired?" he asked, lying down next to her.
She nodded, burying her face in the pillow.
Aubrey grunted, crawling over to her to tug on her hair.
Avice turned to look at Aubrey, before suddenly wrapping her arms around her playfully.
The baby squealed, patting her face. "Mamph!"
She laughed brightly. "I caught you!"
"Mama, mama, mama," she babbled, reaching for her hair.
"Aubrey, Aubrey, Aubrey," she teased, pulling her close.
The baby squealed, trying to wiggle out of her grasp.
She held tight, tickling Aubrey.
The baby screamed, laughing deeply as she clung to Avice's face, kicking.
She chuckled warmly, kissing Aubrey's cheek.
Jack pulled them both close, wrapping his arms around them as a unit.
She smiled, shifting to give him a quick kiss.
He smiled slightly. "Hi."
She chuckled gently. "Hello."
He kissed her forehead. "Sleep. Everything's okay."
She watched him adoringly before nodding. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby."
She shut her eyes, keeping close to him.
