He grinned before picking up a sleeping Aubrey. "Come on."
She sighed, sitting up. She let her feet hang off the edge of the bed for a moment before standing.
He balanced Aubrey on his hip, reaching for her hand.
She took his, her hand warm.
"We gotta get you your own horse," he said thoughtfully.
She blinked. "Oh, right."
"Not now. But in general. Mack won't be able to handle all three of us for long."
"It's alright. We can find one today."
"What's the name?"
She shrugged. "No idea."
"Bertram."
"Definitely not."
"Bertha."
"No, stop it."
"Becky."
"Why? Just why?"
"Boris."
"No."
"Doris."
"Please stop this."
