He shook his head, closing his eyes again. "It's alright, don't worry. Just rest. You've been through a lot."
"I'll lay here with you awhile," she murmured. "Next time you wake up, Aubrey really wants to see you."
Her hand came to rest over his, and a tear slipped down her cheek. "Don't say anything.. I'll start crying.."
He pulled her closer, shifting uncomfortably around his injured legs. "It's okay to cry, Av. It's alright. It's okay."
She shook her head, now trembling. "You shouldn't be the one comforting me. It should be the other way around."
He brushed his fingers through her hair. "You had to deal with it all. It's okay. It's okay to feel like this."
