"Yes. Of course."
"I feel like you're only saying that because you're trying to spite me."
"Definitely not."
"I would bet money if I were a gambling man."
"I gamble from time to time. I wouldn't bet."
"Because you're scared."
"Because I'm right. Definetly right."
He smirked but said nothing more, moving his piece.
She rolled her eyes, moving hers a moment after.
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"Stop that. I'll do what I want."
He clucked his tongue. "If you're sure."
"Hush. I'll figure this out."
He considered it before glancing up at her. "I just... I feel really bad..."
She glared up at him. "Don't pity me, Jack Curnow. I will continue until it's done."
"Well, it's about to be done. Do you want to take back that move?"
"No. Hush."
"Are you sure? Last chance."
"I'm sure."
