He frowned at her chidingly. "Love you too."
She kissed his cheek with a grin.
"It's rude to make fun of your partner who's about to die."
"You're not about to die. I'd kill you if you did."
"That... makes no sense."
"I would kill you."
"I don't think you understand how death works."
"I would revive you, and then kill you. Cause I'm magic."
“You are, but I’m not sure that would work.”
"It would. Trust me on this one."
“I suppose...”
She nodded, watching him carefully. "Good."
He raised an eyebrow. “I’m not dying.”
"I know you're not. I'm just glad.'
“About what?”
"Being with you. It's very nice."
“Even when I’m lame?”
She rolled her eyes. "Even then."
