"I once had a friend who was terrified of birds," Jack said casually. "Always screamed when pigeons flapped their wings."
"Eh. It's fine," he said as they approached the coop. "At least she didn't die from some sort of carnivorous bird."
"Here, do you want to see how we train them?" he asked, going to the side of the coop to grab some pellets.
"Well, for now, we're just training them to like us," he said, taking out another pigeon chick and placing him on the deck. He scattered some of the food on the ground, and the chick hopped over to him and began to peck. "But when we get to land, we give them more 'official' training."
"Maybe a little," he admitted as he sat cross legged and the chick hopped into his lap. "But now they really like me."
