She tilted her head slightly, her eyes fluttering shut.
He pulled away slightly, eyeing her lovingly. "You're pretty cute, you know."
She flushed. "Me?"
"Mm. My girl."
She wrapped her arms around his waist. "My favorite."
He laughed lightly before pulling her up to kiss her.
She kissed him back before pulling away. "Can I just.. fawn over you for a second?"
He blinked, looking confused. "What?"
"Y'know. I adore you. You don't much like it when I start giving you random compliments."
He laughed slightly. "So, you're preparing me."
"Precisely!"
"Alright. Let's hear it."
She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated. "Now I'm embarrassed."
“I’m all prepared, though.”
"Just give me a minute. I'll get there."
“I’m so hurt.”
"Don't be."
“I was ready for an ego booster.”
"It'll come eventually. You've always been patient with me, after all."
"Have I? I don't know if that's true..."
