She smiled, wrapping her arms around him. "Hi."
He kissed the top of her head and Aubrey patted her face good-naturedly. "How are you?"
"Glad to see you," she replied. "I missed you."
He laughed slightly, wrapping one arm around her. "I'm glad to see you. Want to go to bed?"
She nodded. "Yeah. Aubrey can come too."
He grinned, brightening. "Really?"
She nodded. "Of course."
He kissed Aubrey's cheek. "Hear that, Bree?"
She smiled, taking his arm and pulling him towards the bedroom.
He followed, bouncing Aubrey slightly.
She opened the door, sitting on the edge of the bed.
He flopped down, setting Aubrey on his chest.
She went to lie down next to him, her head on his arm.
He looked over at her with a grin as Aubrey crawled over, hitting his face in the process.
She laughed, her hand reaching up to hold his jaw.
"Bree!" he protested. "No hitting!" "Daaaaaa."
She chuckled. "She's sorry."
"She's cackling in glee."
"She is so sorry."
"Who is the translator here, you or me?"
