She squeezed him tightly. "I love you."
He blinked in surprise before leaning over, kissing the top of her head. "I love you too."
She took his hand, entwining their fingers as her voice went soft. "Tu es tout pour moi."
He blinked, his brow furrowing as he studied her. "I... I can't place that."
She smiled slightly. "Tu es mon tout et le serai toujours, même si de mauvaises choses arrivent."
He frowned, resting his head on the pillow lightly. "Bad things... will happen?"
She chuckled, resting her head in the curve of his neck. "No. That's not right."
He frowned, his free hand coming up to brush through her hair slowly. "Then what is it?"
"It's embarrassing.."
He frowned, tilting his head in confusion. "Embarrassing? How? Did you pee the bed or something?"
She swatted his arm. "No. It's just.. I don't know if you'd like it. It's kinda cheesy."
"Hm. Well, you know me. I'm easily furious."
"You are my everything and always will be, even if bad things happen."
He blinked in surprise, tilting his head. "Really?"
She nodded slowly. "Yeah.."
He paused, his eyebrow raised before his slow smile crossed his face. "I see. That's good."
She looked up at him. "Do you think?"
"I do. I feel the same, if it makes you feel less corny."
She nodded, her arm around him. "It does."
He kissed her temple, shifting slightly. “I aim to please.”
