She shook her head with a sigh. "It's okay. Don't worry."
"I'll get better," he said quietly. "For you."
She sighed. "It's okay, Jack."
"No," he said stubbornly, shaking his head. "I'll do it for you."
She frowned slightly. "C'mon.. It's okay."
"I want to. I should get better at it anyway."
She pursed her lips. "Alright."
"You know. Cause I get so many compliments."
"Cause you deserve them, in my opinion."
He rolled his eyes, resting his forehead against hers. "Hush."
She chuckled before wincing, pulling away slightly.
He blinked, pulling away instantly. "Did I hurt you?"
"No," she said quietly, relaxing as well as she could again. "Laughing hurts."
He frowned, adjusting Aubrey so she wasn't leaning too much against her. "I'm sorry."
"I'm fine," she said quickly. "It's okay."
He sighed, kissing her forehead. "I guess I can't let you laugh."
She frowned. "I want to laugh.."
"Don't laugh. Think about sad things."
"But then I'll be unhappy.."
"Okay, uh... think about happy things, then. Not funny. Just happy."
