She grinned brightly. "Fantastic."
"Maybe we should date sometime."
She nodded slowly. "I would love to. Plus, dates with you would be the best."
"Mm. I love you."
She grinned. "I love you too."
He kissed her cheek, glancing down at Aubrey. "Look at that baby."
She looked down as well. "She's lovely."
"Yeah, she is. Our little girl.""
She kissed his cheek. "I love you."
He gave her a small smile. "I love you too."
She rested her head against him, sighing.
"You should sleep," he murmured. "You need to get better."
She nodded slowly. "Okay."
He rubbed her back slowly, his free hand brushing through her hair.
She quickly fell asleep, leaning into his touch.
He sighed, staying up for a long time before following her.

Avice was still asleep, her skin warm and expression relaxed.
Jacks lips were slightly parted as he slept, his head tipped back.
