She looked him, before leaning close to his face and smiling softly. Her hand moved to his face and she drew him closer. She stopped before they were almost touching and whispered in his ear. "Oh, darn. That's a shame."
"Isn't it?" he mused, the corner of his eyes crinkling as he grinned at her. "It's a terrible burden, I'm sure."
She moved back, raising an eyebrow. "It is. But, don't worry. I'll find a way to make you blush eventually."
"I would never think to doubt you," he said, grinning at her. "But I think I could make you blush faster than you could make me blush, yes."
"Oh yeah? Wanna bet? I'm surprisingly durable to stuff like that when I'm prepared." She smirked, tilting her head.
He kissed her other cheek. "Right," he said thoughtfully. He kissed her forehead. "I'm sure it will be...." He kissed her nose. "Very difficult." He found her lips and kissed her again, a smile playing on his mouth.
"Ah.. You're making this difficult," she muttered, trying to think of things that would prevent a blush. After a moment, she turned back to him grinning at her accomplishment. She moved behind him, and draped her arms over his shoulders. Her hands were surprisingly soft, for someone who worked with cannons, as she turned his head to look at her. She smiled smugly, and the hand that was not occupied held the collar of his shirt lightly.
"Yes!" She moved backwards, raising her arms in the air. "Victory! I really thought I would break, too. You're pretty good."
"I almost did," he muttered, lamenting his loss. "If only I didn't like you so much." He shook his head at her, scolding her mockingly. "Such a shame, Rohesia."
"A shame for you, but a blessing for me." She moved back to her original spot, leaning against the wall. She held her knees, observing him.
He laid back down on the deck, his side brushing her feet. He paused for a moment, staring up at the ceiling, and then turned to look at her and noticed her gaze. "What are you doing?" he asked with a grin.
