"You haven't let me down before," he agreed, sitting next to her. "But you weren't here when I woke up."
(Zoop!) He would receive one text from her, then nothing. She would not reply to anymore texts nor would she be going to school.
She looked up, sitting against the wall with her knees pulled to her chest. She stood going over to the window and looking out.
Sylas was hovering outside her window, his dark, raven-like wings flapping. "Oh, thank God I know you well," he muttered, shaking his head.
She looked a bit sad, but thankful to see him. "She nailed the window shut and I don't have my powers."
His eyes widened momentarily and he placed his hand on the window. The space around it darkened before it disappeared in space. He offered her his hand.
