There came a slight tittering from the back of the class, but Mags silenced it with a glare. "Fine. Go to the principal's office and ask for updates." Monty stood up, saluting Mags. "Will do, Magsy. C'mon, Theo."
Theo stood, going with as she frowned slightly, saying nothing as a thoughtful look crossed her face.
They got out to the hallway and Monty looked over at Theo, a small, playful smirk on his face. "Can't get enough of me, I take it."
"First the teams, then the going out for food, and now following me on my quest. I've won you over," he said with mock arrogance, running his hand through his hair. "I get it, don't worry. It happens all the time."
"Okay, the teams have nothing to do with that. Secondly, you invited us to the cafe." She raised an eyebrow. "Dumbass."
He gasped in mock offense, looking over at her. "Wow! And here I was thinking that we had a charming rapport going on."
Maverick frowned, glancing at Theresa nervously before he shapeshifted into mouse, sneaking over to her. Lilith glanced over, her expression curious.
Her lower eyelid twitched and she took a deep breath, returning to the present. She looked around nervously, rubbing her temple as she tried to focus. Sylas noticed and smirked, raising an eyebrow critically.
Maverick changed human, kneeling beside her desk. "..Are you okay?" Lilith noticed, a small glare crossing her gaze she looked at him.
She looked over at him in disgust, still looking preoccupied. "Why do you care?" she replied, her voice low and grave.
"I'm sure," she said flatly, standing up and grabbing her helmet. Mags looked up with a frown. "Theresa, dear, the class isn't over. Please stay in your seat. " "Something's wrong, ma'am," she said quietly. "Please." Sylas laughed from the back of the room. "Just say that you need to use the bathroom, Theresa. You're embarrassing yourself."
