Chrysalis then follows Celestia into this dungeon. It was odd they were going down into a dungeon. She figures Celestia has a reason for it. She then saw the pony that Celestia was wanting to show her. Chrysalis raised a brow and wasn't sure if this was joke or not. He looked a lot like Darky.
Celestia turned to Chrysalis. "This is Thunder shield. He... is an ancestor of Darky, frozen in time for his actions he once made against equestria." She turned to him. "He used to be a noble soul, but... something changed. He was corrupted. We... decided to say he died in duty so ponies remembered him as a hero, but history lost track of what he did..." She then said.
Chrysalis then tilts her head. This was odd. A pony who was frozen like this to fix issues he has caused, though ponies remember him as a hero. She then sighs, she didn't know how this made her felt... maybe aside from confused.
Celestia turned to her. "His heat if still noble, I know it is." She said. "And I still remember how he used to be. Almost like Darky." She smiled and her horn gently glowed and the spell started to disappear.
Chrysalis then sighs. She hopes Celestia is making a point to something. This business with a colt she doesn't even know isn't really interesting her much. Maybe she could see if he were animate. In anycase, this is bust so far for her.
Soon, the stallion came back to life. He fell down where he was and look up. "I'm... free?" he asked as he looked around. He sat, barely remembering how being alive felt. He looked around and saw Celestia. "P-rpincess?" he asked, then saw Chrysalis. "uhmmm.... have... we met before?" he asked. It the first time he saw her. he had seen changelings before, but never she... she was cute and a bit charming for him.
Chrysalis then looks at his confused look. She figures that he would be like that due to being frozen so long. It made sense. She wasn't sure if she could answer him though. It would be obvious that neither of them have ever met. She has never met Thunder in her lifetime and she knows he hasn't met her.
"Rise, Thunder. I have a mission for you in order to redeem your past actions." Celestia said. Thunder stood up. He had an athletic body, as well a bit handsome for an old stallion. Celestia looked at him, her expresión completely different. She looked serious. "For now, your mission will be to guard my friend in here." She said, turning to Chrysalis. "I will later see something else to do, but for now that will be all." She said, Thunder remained silent, not sure why did she asked him that.
Chrysalis then looks to Celestia and she wonders what she is up to. It was something most likely to do with the who love thing but maybe she could start being friendly to Thunder. Who knows, they could hit it off.
Thunder just nodded to Celestia. Celestia turned to Chrysalsi, smiling. "Alright then, lets go." She said, then started walking back the path they came trough. Thunder decided to walk beside Chrysalis since it was his duty to guard her now.
Chrysalis walks with Celestia on the way out and she noticed Thunder quietly keeping close to her. This made he blush some. She isn't exactly use to being guarded. This will be an adjustment for her. She still isn't sure how she feels about him but she doesn't mind his presence though.
Thunder was starting to get used to be able to move again, but once they exited, he was not sure he would be able to fly. Celestia started flying and once Thunder tried to, after a few seconds, he fell down because he was not used to it again.
Chrysalis felt bad for Thunder and she helped him up off the ground. "Try stretching out your wings a little first. I'm sure they're stiff from you not using them in a long while." She says, trying to be helpful. She was not sure if it would help but she had to try. Chrysalis flapped her wings some, and she readies to fly when Thunder was.
Thunder turned to her and nodded. He tried stretching his wings to make sure they were not stiff and after flapping them a bit, he managed to fly. Slowly but steady." he smiled at that. " Thank you." He said smiling to Chrysalis before following her.
Chrysalis nods and flies off toward Celestia before she go too far ahead of them. Chrysalis smiles to herself, being able to help out Thunder. It felt good. Maybe she could still have a chance with him... maybe.
Celestia turned to Chrysalis and smiled to her. She started flying a bit slower so Thunder could catch up with them once he get used again to fly. After a while, they arrived to the castle. Thunder landed of the garden and looked around. "Where are we? I... don't recall this place at all." he said.
Chrysalis lands and she stretches her legs. She was happy to be on the ground again. "Never thought I'd say this but It's good to be in Canterlot again..." She says to herself. This place was like a second home to her, much more than she initially thought.
"Canterlot?" Thunder asked "The new capital of equesetria. A lot has changed since you were frozen." Celestia said. "And the castle...." He then said. "Why was it on ruins?" "My sister..." Tia limited herself to say.
Chrysalis could hear Celestia's pain when she spoke those two words. She heard about Luna becoming Nightmare Moon. It was a horrible indecent from what she has heard and she couldn't let Celestia linger on it. She goes up to Celestia and nuzzles her, trying to help Celestia to not feel too bad.
Celestia smiled to Chrysalis and nuzzled back. "Thank you." She said smiling, feeling a bit better. "I see..." Thunder said. "Something happened." Tia nodded.
