Chrsyalis then blushes. "I-I felt like I should after all you've done to help my Changelings. I wanted to thank you for that." She says, showing some affection and shyness to the Princess of the Sun, and Equestria itself. "Well, I do wish to also apologize to Twilight for my actions against her. Also to show that I do wish to become friends, instead of bitter enemies."
"I understand what you want to do." Tia said, then got a bit closer to her. "Is a really good thing what you want to, and I'll also try to help you convince them,, since you had already done it with me." She then moved back. A guard came back. "Your highness, Princess Twilight has arrived." he said. "Thank you." Tia said, then turned to Chrysalis. "Let's go to the throne room."
Chrysalis nods and follows Celestia to her throne room. When they arrived, some of the damage was taken care of, but the scars still remained. Chrysalis's remembers all she did while she remained in here. It made her heart ache. Those memories of her dark self... it made her sick that she acted so selfish. Even her face telegraphed her disgust in herself of what she did to everypony. This room being a reminder.
Celestia sat in her throne. Luna and Darky arrived after a moment and both sat beside her. Celestia looked at Chrysalis. "They will arrive soon." But just as sh e said that, Twilight and her friends went trough the door.
Chrysalis then sighs and she braces herself for what Twilight and her friends will say upon seeing her. She knows what's coming was deserved. She was a horrible pony before, but this is why she wants to do this. She wants to make amends, even if Twilight doesn't want to. It's time for the moment of truth anyway.
"Good day Twilight." Celestia said. "Good day Princess Celestia." Twilight said smiling. "Good day Luna, darky and Chr-" She stopped right there. "Chrysalis?!" SHe got ready to fight "What are you doing here?!" She asked her a bit angry. "Calm down Twilight." Celestia said.
Chrysalis then cringed some, but she didn't take offense. She figured that Twilight would react that way. Chrysalis sighs and she looks to Twilight. "Greetings, Twilight. I was the one who wish of you to come. Celestia and Luna merely arranged it due to my progress. I wanted to apologize for my actions yesterday and wanted make amends for everything that I have done to wrong you all. I will understand if you do not feel the same way, I just... wanted to ask for... your friendship..." She trails off, blushing and looking away shyly. "I'm sorry... this is hard for me to do."
Twilight looked at her, not sure what just happened, was she... apologizing? And wanted her... friendship? What happened while she was gone? "Are you sure that is all she wants Twi?" AJ asked her. "I don't know but..." she was not entire sure why she was doing this. "What made you change to... what you are now?" She asked Chrysalis. Whatever happened, she wanted to know.
Chrysalis then sighs and makes eye contact once again. "I guess I felt a change once I met Darky. I don't know what happened but seeing how much he showed affection toward Luna... it in some way melted my cold heart. I felt a want to return affections back. Due to this change, I felt very protective of Darky during the time of his enslavement as my pet. But even after my own foolish defeat, he was at my side, free of my magic, still showing affection. I think that was my turning point. I've since been battling my own inner demons. While part of me wished for what I did before, another part now wishes to change all that I've done. I've decided to change for the better. I don't know if you'd believe me after my track record but this is the truth." Chrysalis says in a soft buzz. Her voice sounding very sincere.
Twilight started thinking all she said. So Darky was the reason she changed, well... his love for Luna. It was actually... a bit amazing. She knew that his love was quite powerful, but not that to actually change from evil to good somepony. She was amazed by that. Also, her vice sounded sincere, she was not sure what to say. "I don't know, it kind of hadn't convinced me yet." RD said. "Yes, it sounds pretty and stuff but... I don't know what to say actually." Rarity said. Twilight kept thinking all what Chrysalis said.
Chrysalis then looks away and she hides her face. She knew they wouldn't buy it, even with her pouring her heart and soul out. She meant every word, but it feels like it didn't matter. Her own heart feeling like breaking. After all this support she now feels like she bashed her heart against a concrete wall.
Twilight was not sure what to do next. She looked and Chrysalis and she looked... bit sad. Darky went to her side to try to calm her down, as well as Luna. Twilight looked at them, still not saying anything. "Well, she is kind of trying." Fluttershy said in her usual shy voice. "I mean, this just reminds me on when we were doing that with Discord. I'm sure she is doing her best to actually change."
Chrysalis then buzzes softly as Darky and Luna hug her. She nuzzles them and she sighs. She just hopes that Twilight make the right decision. She knows this was as hard for Twilight as it is for her. "Thank you~" She says softly to Darky and Luna. Her affection coming forth from her.
Darky and Luna smiled after hearing her buzzing and happy. Twilight looked at that and that just made her decision even harder, also with what Fluttershy said. She tried to calm down to think all this carefully. "I think..." She started saying. Celestia looked at her, eager to hear what she was about to say, but staying calm. "I think she is doing her best to change...! Twilight finally said.
Chrysalis smiles softly and she feels happier than before to hear Twilight accept the fact that she is trying to change. "I-I'm happy you think so. In truth I've been dreading this... but you've helped ease my fears. Thank you, Twilight." She says, her voice sounding still sincere and a bit more happier. Her own body wanting to hug her, but she restrains herself as to keep this moment from getting too awkward.
"Yes..." Twilight limited herself to say. She was not sure why she said that, but she thought it was the best. She trusted Darky and if he thought she was doing her best, then she will trust him. Twilight's friends smiled after hearing that. "But things wont be like this when you have to deal with my brother and Cadence." She then said. "And I'm afraid I will not be able to help you in there."
Chrysalis then nods. "I'm aware of this. I'll try to befriend them in the future but right now, I'll let them be. They need eachother, like Darky and Luna do. I can't stand in between that." She says and she stretches. "But I do need to return to my Changelings before too long. But not to worry. If we come again, we are her to visit, not to invade." She then walks up to Twilight and kneels down. "I'm happy we can make amends. And maybe with time, be friends. This I hope for us all, Princess Twilight." She nuzzles Twilight and then stands up.
Twilight blinked and blushed a bit after she nuzzled her. "I-it's nothing she said." She said a bit shy after her nuzzle. "Then we will be looking forward for your visit." he said in a bit more friendly tone and a small smile. Celestia smiled after everything ended up well.
Chrysalis smiles before her face shifts to a more serious one. "It's time." She then walks on out of the Throne room, but she looks behind her before fully leaving. She nods to Celestia and smiles. She then turns and heads out. She leaves the castle and walks into Canterlot. Calling her loyal one she flies off into the distance and she feels her heart soar with her. She has made new friends. It felt so good. Her own heart and mind pulsed with the thoughts of visiting again.
Celestia smiled after she left. "Looks like things went better than expected." She said to Luna and Darky. "Indeed they were sister." Luna said with a smile. Darky nodded in agreement. Twilight hoped that everything would work out well.
