I get it. Two other similar references in the show/movies are: Butch & Cassidy Annie & Oakley (I think they were only in the fifth movie, though) I've been into Pokemon pretty much since the beginning. There was a time, back when the show was in the Johto saga, that I was off it for a long while. I really got back into it back in the spring/winter of 2009 and have never looked back on it again since. Though, right now, my interest in it is kind of (hopefully just temporarily) pushed aside. MLP is my current obsession right now. The only Pokemon games I own myself are SoulSilver and White. The others I have are Platinum, LeafGreen, Emerald and Ruby, but those aren't actually mine. They're my little brothers. They're just currently in my possesion.
Red/blue - LOVE Gold/Sliver- LOVE Ruby/Sapphire- Okay Diamond/Peral- ehh Black/White- ehh I LOVE the orginal, I still play them. But I feel like they're running out of ideas.
I haven't been much of a fan of anything but the games for a reeeaalllyyyy long time, but I've owned at least one game, usually two, from every generation save for Gen II along with several of the other side games The games have been pretty fun. It's a shame they hate me. :c
