Oh yeah. There's PLENTY of classical songs. I would actually like to hear the classical hour as well. I'll probably make it in a bit. (Storyboard)
Thanks for the votes guys! 77 Users! Wow, I didn't expect 50 and that's without being featured on ED, Derpyhooves etc. Glad to know we hold a fair amount of interest, it's unbelievably motivating. Now I'm at college until the 8th of July, when I will then break up for Summer and from that point on is where you'll start to see changes. The question is do you guys want me to update some kind of blog thread where you can comment as I/we go or just post an announcement if anything worthwhile comes about?
I hope it's not too late to say, but I think a kind of pure radio stream would be a decent idea. Something with just the music, not the videos. I don't know if that'd be popular, but it may be good for people who listen without watching, or find the videos lag. Just an idea.
Because I don't know why you suddenly decided that Although I do agree, yes. That is something we should definitely look into.
Thanks to Everypony whose voted and supported EPR thus far! I can't believe we've almost hit 100 Voters without an article on any external sites, it's amazing! Great to know we have so many supporters and preperations to begin work on what you voted for are already under way, it's going to be busy but productive summer, thanks again everypony!
Hmmm about the never being featured on EqD or DH, anyone try sending it in to them? I bet it could really boost the amount of watchers we get
The radio once featured once, but sadly that was when he had a viewer cap so that didn't go all to well, the episode airing was featured to - We sent emails to both EqD and Derpyhooves.com about this poll thing but didn't see either mention it.
Well I'd imagine they wouldn't feature a poll, but I guess that makes sense as to why it didn't go so well with a viewer cap
This just tells us that Equestria Daily doesn't see us as a big thing... YET!!! But we'll show them. In other news... What about actual LIVE time with DJs? Like a talk-show segment thing. Just an idea though.
We've been discussing it: Pros/Cons of real live and pre recorded live sessions. Pre recorded = More time to think, easy enough to edit, tweak and make funny effects/voice filters, sounds and the like. Can sound a bit generic, boring, rehearsed. Can't react to questions or comments in real time. Live, live = No time wasted on masses of script writing, ability to chat and react to viewers in real time and live mistakes often make it all the more funny and unique. Hard to get voice filters/effects. Problematic though not impossible to have two people talking at the same time.
Been trying to figure a way around the issue for a while now, but basically I gotta say I'm heartbroken that I can't listen to Everypony on my phone. When I try to get to the video It just says that this stream isn't available in a mobile version. I voted for a few things, but my number one requested feature would have to be mobile compatibility. I end up walking to work a lot, and I know that would make the walk that much better.
Well, blame livestream for that one. We can only get mobile compatibility using a premium channel or broadcasting via procaster. Procater is out of the question because we can't access our library from there. And a premium channel costs like 350$/month.
What phone are you using? I know that there's a trick with Android to make it simulate a home PC, and Livestream will work then, but.. I don't have one.
Android - Download Dolphin Browser HD go to settings -> Dolphin settings -> User Agent. Set it to 'desktop'. Now go to www.radio.everypony.com and click one of the two arrows that appear where the chat and stream should be. Your in! You can't chat but you can lurk and listen to the radio just make sure you have an unlimited dataplan and good signal iPhone? There's an app for that. Other device? Sorry I can't help you there
Well, if it's jailbroken, you can do the same with your iPhone, somewhere in cydia there's an user agent faker, just google it to get the source. I tried the app, but the chat was empty ( maybe extra chat with only mobile watchers?) and the stream didn't work, as it required a premium stream...
I'm on a Droid 2 Global, I have Dolphin HD but I've been using the Netfront Life V2 browser. I may have to fire Dolphin back up though when I need my pony fix on the go.
The current format with DJ's doing thier own thing when they're available, and a playlist running whenever they're not seems to work quite well. Pretty much the only thing I'd like to see is a few more "events" and such - like the episode marathon, that was so awesome. And a bit more variety with the music, perhaps a few more things like this to break up the wall-to-wall electronica. And the recorded vs. live thing. Going for mostly recorded, with the odd live event thrown in (possibly coinciding with the events above - if anyone is up for doing it) would probably give the most cool for the least hassle.
