Most ponies only use the options available to them. I am not most ponies. First, I took a screen cap and imported it into the Paint.NET. Where I separated the body and hair into 2 different layers. I then extended the body because it simply wasn't long enough. After that, de-antialiased the lines to hide the fact I didn't like the initial head I picked out and couldn't get the same exact color and then I saved the layers into individual PNGs. I then imported said PNGs into Flash traced over the de-antialised lines so that they would be antialised again, and so that they would be vectors I edit. After getting the base pony done, I began work on the CRT monitor, after making one at a flat angle, I decided that it didn't show off how big it was suppose to be, so I drew the side of said CRT monitor and then skewed the front and side into a faux 3D object. I also added unshorn fetlocks which the pony creator does not yet provide. I then got to work on the cutie mark, after the text to didn't provide the mono spacing I wanted, I broke the text apart and aranged the numbers one by one and then combined them into one symbol, and then tilted it. This is my new pony avatar by the way. Edit: Full sized version here.
