yeah, she said she would be willing to try it. I told her that shed enjoy life more than just being my alter ego.
Last night my brother did the Fluttershy one and on his first go he said he felt wings and hooves! What a guy!
It's hypnotism and it's works surprisingly well. I've done Rarity a few times, and it's just kind of cool to feel your body "morph". Like, your fingers go away and you can't bend your legs a certain way. It's an interesting experience though I'm not sure if I've gone full Rarity. Like, maybe I picked up some of her mannerisms while inducing the effect but I've never felt like I wasn't me, probably because I'm too busy analyzing what feels different about my body. I'm tempted one day to see how long in a day I can go like it, but I'm much too busy.
It was in a nightly roundup on Equestria Daily one day. It works by you listening to a recording and relaxing. The recording walks you through what to do. It's important to not resist it because then it wont work. Afterwards, you should be able to induce the transformation and revert with trigger words. It's pretty easy and a very interesting experience.
I tried something like this before - don't think it was this exact collection of audio files, but their purpose was the same. The one I listened to was for Pinkie Pie, and although it was quite relaxing, it didn't make me feel like I'd 'morphed' into a pony. Of course, I may just be lousy at any kind of meditation or self-hypnosis, so I have no room to be overly skeptical of others who claim it works. Might give it another shot at some point.
I would try this batch if you want to give it another go. I had tried some other hypnosis things before too and they didn't work. I thought I was resistant to it but it turns out that the ones I was using before just sucked.
if you're Schizo or suffer from other certain mind problems hypnosis of any kind would probably be a bad idea. I've been experimenting with hypnosis for about 4yrs now and have really been nothing but disappointed thus far but I always hold out hope! Unfortunately I'm very much like Pinkie and very (undiagnosed) ADHD minds always racing, I thought sleep deprivation would help some sessions but each of those attempts ended in me falling asleep! I Highly recommend Virtual Hypnotist for all your Hypno-attempts, its very customizable and has at least helped me to mediate or enter trance states. Virtual Hypnotist works great even with just a txt file of what you want to hear in a session. If any of you ponies runs across some good Virtual Hypnotist sessions and such let me know! Also reading MaskyMajory's posts makes me optimistic that the Pinkie stuff could cure Depression! Anti-depressants may cause suicide but not a hypnosis file!
Is anyone else reminded of Fight Club a little bit? "All the ways you wish you could be? That's me. People do it everyday. They see themselves as they want to be, but you had the guts to got through and just run with it. Little by little, you're just letting yourself become, Tyler Durden". Warning: explicit language in video and spoilers for anyone who has not yet seen "Fight Club" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-6Ko13IAuw
