    Will do.
The next time I post here I'll have 3 commissions done, 1 new patterned pony, and hopefully a start on the large pony someone wanted.

Now when you said "new pattern". Is that something your doing for all future plushes, or was that a specific request someone had?

I have an idea for a more efficient pattern and I'm going to test it out to see if i was right.

Rainbow Dash was awesome to play with, I loved sewing her mane. I'm going to scrap the original pattern because I feel that the new one works way too well for me to go back to the old one, mainly because there's less chance in anything accidentally being attached wrong. the only problem is that now a 2ft plush will be more epensive because the new pattern requires more. However I've set the default for commissions at 1 ft tall (unless specified otherwise). Later I'll post a Fluttershy prototype. I'm also going to start quilting manes where necessary.
Mike, if you're still interested commissions open at the end of the week and if you want minky we'd have to order it soon so that I'll have it ahead of time and would be able to work with it.

About how much more would a minky one cost now with the new pattern?

$20 more, my way of calculating price is cost of materials times two, and it just needs another yard of lavander so it's not that big a jump.

Ok, that's not a bad jump. I'll think about it. Commissions reopen at the end of this week?

2 ft. A one foot would be close to the same price because minky isn't cut below 1/2 yard.

Ok so then 2ft would be the obvious decision. Thank you.

Yeah, minky is just crazy expensive if it was cut in quarter yards the 1 ft would be cheaper but we don't have that luck :|
My minky for this week's commission is coming in today. :3
However this project will never be this cheap again and I'll only do 1 a month to cut down on any exceeding orders. Seriously I think from this point on if someone wants one this big it'll cost them $350 (shipping included) just because of how much of a pain it is to get everything set up and how annoying pinning is just for tiny plushes (the one I'm working on is lifesize.) Her pattern needed me to use 4 different sheet off my bolt of paper (which is what I use for patterns since someone literally gave it to me after I helped design a set for their play) and the bolt is two feet tall :|.
I'm dedicating this week to this thing and with the new pattern I think it'll look smashing.

Very cool, I could never afford that ha. And I might not be able to buy one now, but I'm not sure yet. Originally I was hoping I could get my mom to chip in some money, but then she decided that she wouldn't. So minky is out of the question.

A 12'' polar fleece plush of Twillight Sparkle is $55 (shipping included) $5 is added to the base price because of her tri-colored mane.
A 24'' would be $80 (shipping included.) Again adding $5 for tri colored mane.
Sorry the price increased a bit, but it's still priced in the same way (materials times two) as before. These just require more material and however looking at the bald pony prototype I have (hoping to finish her by the end of the week along with the large plush) I think these look better and as I said it's more efficient (not in material but in progress, and the end result is a lot more uniform than that of the first pattern.

I think the 12" polar fleece plush is what I will choose.

My current project is cut out (at least the body) and someone is asleep in my sewing area so I can't sew until they wake up :(
I nearly cried because I thought I'd run out of minky, but it was barely enough. Now all that's left of 3 yards of material is a small bag of tiny strips.

    *panting*
So lifesize AJ is almost done, I'm just working hard core on her hat... not really hard core it just is such a relief to finally have her detail work done and not have to lug her around. I'm about to go to the fabric store to pick up the polar fleece for next week's commissions. (doing four which is one more than I did the week before large AJ but as I said this pattern is a lot more workable)
    So far I have
2 12'' plushes (Twillight Sparkle, Derpy Hooves)
2 24'' plushes (Rarity-also minky, and Twillight Sparkle)
I will have the new pattern up on DA by the end of the night along with large AJ.
Thankfully two of the commission sent me mail money because now I can buy all the fabric without messing with paypal's withdrawing.

Oh man oh man, I'm so tired of the color orange. Here is a 4ft pony, which I'm never ever doing again... ever. Her head weighs so much she barely can stand... and she's not even able to sit on the loveseat. Poor AJ. She weighs like 30lbs (in the box) and I'm completely pooped and I hate my sewing machine.

    -_-
I have 2 commissions from everypony (mike I got your material so I could lump yours with the others) and 2 from another forum I usually frequent.

Also, please feel free to watch me on DA because it has more of my things and all of my failures and greatnesses.
