(Say one person -A- likes Luna, another -B- likes Applebloom, and a third -C- likes Rainbow Dash. If person A eliminates Applebloom, then B could side with C. However, so long as Applebloom is in the running, she is a liability to both A and C.) (Therefore, with every weak elimination, you run the risk of making your strong enemies more powerful. However, when you eliminate a strong opponent, you have a better chance that the character's fanbase will support you over less favoured opponents.) (Fluttershy and Dashie have two powerful fanbases, so I'd rather not irritate them while Luna is still getting her footing. Trixie has both a niche fanbase and is a statistically more powerful opponent at the moment, and is therefore a good target for siphoning score.) (In conclusion, it's better to have many enemies who may also fight amongst themselves than one powerful enemy who brings the game into a sudden-death power struggle. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.) (Also, I like Applebloom, so it's kind of a revenge thing.)
