I was a brony weeks during when they still sold the ones here over in the US at McDonalds. Well maybe days after they switched happy meal toys. :derpe: Oh well. I still have my custom ponies.
Awe! That was really nice of him! :3 Pffft, I think the creator of the flash was only screwin' around man XD
And I caved under the heavy season 2 hype and ordered this. I'll probably regret it later having spent nearly $30 on a single shirt(more money than I have spent on clothes my entire 24 of life!) and I'll undoubtedly hear about it how strange it is that I'm spending $30 on a shirt with pink and purple characters when my dad goes to order it as he holds the credit card (Too lazy to get my own bank account) What fun.
I wasn't sure if I should make my own thread for this or not... but I'm a graphic designer, so I've made some T-shirts. Should I make a new thread? I dunno. Anyway. I ended up making a thread for my T-shirts~ http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?1418-Indie-MLP-T-shirts
Wow, did you make all those shirts? If so, then hell yes make you're own thread! I'm serious, I'd buy several of those. Heck, I might!
Haha, yeah I did. I needed to do something to procrastinate my college homework. I shall make my own thread thennn~
Ohhh man. How did I ever not see those in my hunt for shirts? Gonna have to put your shirts on my list, right after the ones from here come out... Seriously awesome stuff.
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Here's my new thread: http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?1418-Indie-MLP-T-shirts
I have several pony toys myself. I've got all of the mane six, plus shine bright rainbow dash, rarity and pinkie pie and I also have twilight and fluttershy fashion ponies. Still not enough though, I've put loads of pony stuff on my amazon wishlist. I don't really mind people knowing that much anymore. When I bought the shine bright rarity the guy at the counter in the toy shop asked if it was for myself and I laughed and said yes. I kind of though he was probably just joking but then he replied 'Oh that's cool, I have loads of spider man toys at home.' I was disappointed he didn't say he had pony toys because I was kind of hoping he might be a brony when he first started saying it, but still I thought it was cool that he didn't think it was weird me buying them. But I guess it might of been because I'm a girl, so maybe if i was nineteen year old boy instead of girl he would have thought it more weird. I also mentioned the show and how popular it had become, since it seemed appropriate in the conversation.
That sounds like a nice collection of pony toys right there :3 and I think females may be more accepted for being into MLP rather than guys XD seeing as most people immediately assume that the cartoon is just for little girls.
Holycraps it's Snowy. Haven't seen you post in a while. Anyways, lookit! New swag I bought at my kid's book fair. Go Schoolastic! It's like magnets, but not! (How do they work?!)
I still have my custom ponies! Mwhahaha! Thanks to Gryphyn-Bloodheart over at Deviantart for commissioning them for me. (Well the Vinyl Scratch one. I got the Derpy from her at the meetup I met her at.) Currently re-styling Vinyl Scratch, or just fixing her hair, wetting, letting her dry, trimming extra hair later on. :derpe: I hope she looks better than before!
It's a magnet, almost... but it's not at the same time.... I've never been so excited before!!!! At least it's not magnets, how do they work? ...*juggaloes* Hmm, now to get down to business... Scholastic. I must hunt the Scholastic ads at school now, to find that book... or die trying!
I'm not one for buying pony toys, but I have a bucket of Bionicles from my childhood and a plan.......If I can pull this off, I'll post pictures, but don't expect a masterpiece!
I consider this something very delicate, I respect and respect MUCH, who buys the product related to the show. I have also thought about getting an RDS that is having a surprise here in McDonald's, but do not know why I can not get, I have no idea why this happens, I think cool, but I need something to reach that level, maybe it's courage...
Go for it, if not there may be unwanted regrets.. My experiences, as well as many others' I can believe, was that there was, surprisingly, no embarrasment whatsoever in the end. Best of luck!
Of course it's me! XD Who else would reply to every post in this thread? Anyway, that's some pretty BA magnets ya got there XD Grrrr, curse you and your awesome custom ponies! I want the Vinyl Scratch one! Don't die trying! Bronies are already pretty rare XD I ****ing love Bionicles, they were my childhood dude, I'd give anything to have Toa Tahu on my shelf again. I think courage is key to getting the toys, but I'm not certain yet XD I might end up getting a toy soon because of all these kind bronie's influence.
