Gem giggled and tossed aside the cobblestone block she was fidgeting with. "You don't have to worry about me, I'm not really into relationships anyways, I'm basically married to my camera." she gave a heartfelt smile, her eyes lit up happily as she patted the camera case besides her. "Nixon is a great listener." she giggled jokingly.
"Oh, okay." Heart smiled back, resting her head between her hooves. "Well, lucky you, Mr. Nixon," she wagged a hoof at Gem's camera, "you've got the finest filly in all of Cloudsdale."
"So! What shall we do now? Its about time we start collecting all we can for tonight. I'm gonna make a tree house since i really don't like staying on the ground." she blushed at her weird problem and looked at Heart again a frown on her face. "can i tell you a secret now?"
"Pssh, of course you can!" Heart rolled her eyes. "I told you my innermost feelings, so there's no shame."
Gem sighed, and shifted her position nervously. "Im actually afraid of the ground.. like deathly afraid.. i cant stand the way the grass feels or how the trees tower over everypony." she whimpered and embarrassingly hid her red cheeks in her hooves. "Its stupid i know but i feel safer off the ground for some reason.."
"Oh, I didn't know that..." Heart's usual peppy gaze softened for a split second. "But hey, that's okay, you're a pegasus!" She grinned. We weren't exactly made for the ground." If you want me to...I could help you gather wood." We could build a multi-layer treehouse, high as the clouds!" She held her hooves out sideways in exaggeration. Noticing Gem's embarrassment, she put a comforting hoof over her friends', lowering them from her face and smiling. "Hey, it's okay." We'll make a totally epic treehouse before sundown."
"th-thank you.. im glad you understand. Others normally just look at me weird or fall over laughing." she sighed and blew a loose things of mane from her eyes then forced a smile to appear. "Can we make one with a tree swing"
"Of course we can!" Heart fluttered off the branch. "What's a pegasus house without one?" She winked, soaring up and bundled a bunch of cube looking clouds to make one big elongated rectangle. "Yup, that won't move for awhile." She was back down in an instant, punching blocks of wood from other trees.
Gem did the same, starting from the top of the tree and going down, flying back up before she hit the ground. "Thanks again for helping." she smiled
"Aw, gee...no problem, for my best friend." Heart turned and smiled back. As she began to count up the blocks of wood and cobblestone left over, her thoughts began to wander. I hope Wings is okay...I gave him that sword, after all. He'll be back before sundown, right?
She started placing blocks on the tallest tree she could find and smiled as she did so till she saw Heart's worried look. "He'll be back you know.. He's looks pretty strong.." she said, placing a hoof on Heart's shoulder.
"Yeah, you're right." Thanks Gem, I can always count on you." She smiled and tried for a laugh. "Hey, I've got a full stack of wood now, how 'bout you?"
While the mares worked wings was in the cave he spoke of, slaying zombies, skeletons, & cave spiders, working well with the sword heart gave him, rarely getting hit, only a few arrows protruding from his ribcage & left shoulder
Heart stared, wide eyed, at the gleaming metal. "Ya know, that's a good idea." How much iron did you mine last night?" A curious grin spread across her face.
"i believe i got like 30 last night.. i didnt want to go deep since i was unarmed." she shrugged and finished a platform and landing.
"Hm...maybe later we could make some armor out of it." But I don't know if we'll really need it, since we can fly and stuff." Heart built a second platform up to where the cloud was that she wrangled, and surrounded its edges. "Sweet, that'll be the comfiest bed ever!"
Wing trudged out of the cave, 4 arrow sticking out if him, he walks up to heart,"i g-got the b-bones...", he manages, hoofing heart a stack of 37 bones,"i think I sh-should rest...", he said going into the house & falling on his side
