Gem noticed the arrows and to help, she gather some apples and made a bucket to get water. "Um Wings? I brought you some food and um water to help heal you." she said shyly setting the bucket down and nudging it towards him. "Do you want me to get you anything else?"
Wings smiled at her & ate an apple, snapping two of the arrows & wincing,"just a bit of time...", wings replies, snapping the other two & drinking water, then eating another apple,"thank ya..."
Heart saw him, and was shocked. She could only sit and stare down at the pile of bones Wings had risked his life for. "Oh my..." A single tear ran down her cheek. No, stop this nonsense. You have to be strong. Offer your comfort. She wiped it away, passing Gem on the way to the house. "Hey, thanks." She smiled, giving her friend a quick hug before slowly stepping in.
Heart's gaze softened, and pain tugged at her heart to see Wings this way again so soon. She walked over to him slowly, bent down, and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Ah, I'm sorry Wings, I hope that helps." She placed a light hoof on his shoulder. "Thanks for bringing all those bones back, I have a whole wheat farm with lots left over, and I'm gonna make bread for all of us." I'll be out helping Gem with the finishing touches on her treehouse, so just whinny if you need anything." And with that, she fluttered off.
"Wow, this looks great Gem!" Heart gazed up at the multi-layered structure, complete with it's own crafting tables, furnaces, chests, and roofs.
"Thank you! I have actually made enough rooms for all of us!" she beamed with pride as she put the last block down. "I made some shears so i got wool so theres beds and each room has thier own double chest and furnace!" she was pulling Heart around, showing her the rooms and all the paintings on the wall.
Heart laughed and ran about the house with Gem, occasionally stopping to admire the craftsmanship. "So pretty...and in only a few days!" They finally got to the top where Heart had trapped a cloud for her friend's bed.
"Of course he would!" Let's go tell him." Heart glided down from the top, landing at the doorway. She walked in and gently nudged Wings awake. "Hey, wanna see Gem's new treehouse?" It's big enough for everyone."
"Gem and I...well, mostly her, built this awesome treehouse, and it can fit all of us!" Heart replied. "Wanna see it?"
Heart guided him gently to the complex, tall structure. They stood at the cobblestone base and looked up as far as they could see. "Yup, that's it!" I'll show you our rooms."
"Oh! Wait!" Gem called down and threw over a elevatore like thing. "Bring up everything first!" she said a little quieter and she flew down. "This place is the perfect place to escape from monsters.. umm unless they fly then we're doomed either way.."
