After a while, Lightning finished his breakfast and started walking around, looking for Celestia to help her in her usual duties.

 

Sapphire went off to the mine to find more gems.

 

Lightning didn't found Celestia anywhere, so he decided to go and look for Sapphire. He went to her home and knocked the door.

 

Emerald opened the door. "Oh, hey Lightning."

 

"Hi there Emerald." He said smiling "Where is Sapphire? I have nothing to do, so I decided to see her."

 

"She went off to do her mining job." Emerald said. "You know, at the mine."

 

"Yes, thank you." Lightning said to her. He then started walking towards the mine.

 

Sapphire was in the mine working in there.

 

Lightning was looking around, he had never been inside a mine. "Do you need help?" He asked her as soon as he saw her.

 

"No, I'm good." Sapphire said. "I've already have a partner to help me."

 

Lightning smiled at her looking at how they worked. "Alrigt." He said. There was a chair nearby, so he decided to sit there.

 

"This is Jewel, my partner." Sapphire said to Lightning. "Nice to meet you." Jewel said.

 

"Nice to meet you. My name is Golden Lightning." He replied.

 

"Sapphire, you never told me you had a boyfriend." Jewel said.

 

Lightning shrugged a little blushing slightly. "Well, its kind of new." He said.

 

"You guys look like a cute couple." Jewel said. Sapphire blushed.

 

"Everypony says that." Lightning replied still blushing. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and calmed down.

 

"It's true. They do say that." Sapphire said. "I guess we were meant for each other."

 

Lightning nodded. "I'm pretty sure of that." he said smiling to Sapphire.

 

"That's just adroable." Jewel said.
