"The unicorns. Like the Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns. They want to end harsh ways." She hissed, "This is a big choice theyre making. Theyre a small tribe, but I bet they are teaming up with earth ponies." She smirked, "They still wont win."
Night was not sure what to say about all this. For what he saw, if the ponies went to war with her, it would be their doom, and he didn't want them to die. "Is there no other way to end this conflict?" He asked her a bit worried, although he knew the war was inevitable.
"Unlikely. Even if they resigned we would still attack. I know what youre thinking, since youre practically one of them, I'd be guessing youre hesitant about this." She chuckled murderously, then frowned. "But you saw what happened to the last one who tried to escape. He mightve been the only sane one here." She pretended to be sad, but was obviously faking. She began laughing again, "It might just happen to you, or at least before the war."
Night didn't reply. What she said was true, that wolf looked like sane compared to the others, even more after what she said. As long as he didn't tried to escape, he would be alright. "Fine." He reolied after a moment. Justa s he feared, war was innevitable.
Aeron smirked, "You will be treated well as of now, but be careful of your actions." She chuckled once more, than padded out, but stopped as she was about to leave. "And there are hounds around here. No mercy."
Night nodded. "I understand." He limited himself to say. He knew everything ahe said was true. He just walked inside, since he didn't had anything to do.
"Good." SHe smiled and continued to exit. She checked on the mongrels in the barn, there was nothing left but bone. "Hrm." She frowned. "Savages."
Night went inside the castle and then a question came to his mind. Where was he going to stay? He always moved around the equestria sleeping in anyplace he felt safe, where hee anted, but now, he didnt knew where.
Aeron flicked her ears. She heard the snarling of two wolves in a fight. She growled and stiffly padded towards it. There was an older wolf attack a yound pup. She grabbed the wolf by his neck and threw him to the ground. "Shame on you."
Night heard something and went to see what it was. He saw Aeron grabbing the neck of the wolf and the young pup in there. He decided just to see how all this ended.
"We'll let the hounds get you before I do." She harshly grabbed him, and dragged him to the kingdom entrance. She threw him out aand closed the doors, just as she did there was a shrill screech in the distance. The wolf tunred is head towards the, then back at her, begging for mercy. "Tut tut tut. This wont do." A large, deformed creature appeared over the horizon. It had especially long arms, and ran terrifyingly fast towards the victim. The wolf ran, but the beast caught up. It murdered the wolf gruesomely, but Aeron had departed to the castle.
Night saw everything, then went with the little pup. "Are you alright?" He asked him a bit worried about him, yet he didn't liked the wolf's punishment at all.
"Er... Uh.. Y-Yes.." The pup responded, but ran away in fright. "Hrmph." Aeron huffed, slightly irritated.
Night gave a step back. Well, at least the pup was safe. he shook his head, trying to forget what just happened and try to carry on, he would have to get used to this kind of stuff, like it or not.
Aeron spoke to a guard standing next to a tall tower, "Release the hawk for an excersize." She commanded. He gave a whistle, and a large shadow flew in a blur. It looked like a hawk, except much larger. It circled the kindgom, it razor claws extended.
Night looked up and noticed the hawk... or sort f hawk. It was quite big and looked strong, even for him alone. The fact that they had that meant that flying off there was no longer an option, although he expected them to be ready for that from the beginning, he just hopped the ponies could survive the war against this kingdom.
It was a few days before the war was about to start, supplies were high and wolves were ready. It had been many days of training and fighting, but they were all prepared. The captain of the military had discussed plans with Aeron, as she and the him were leading the army.
Night was watching from the castle. He had been staying in a guest room since his arrival, now the war was close, just a few days and he would see it start. He exited the castle and went for a walk to calm down. He was slowly getting used to that place.
