He nodded and kept hiding in tje shadowsm waiting for the guards to leave. Havig her and her quite good ear would help then a lot.
"I dont hear anything yet. Are we almost there?" She questioned, he ears swiveling, grabbing for sounds.
Night nodded and started moving forward without making any noise to the door, still having Ephy in his back.
A thud sounded from behind them. "Well... Whats this?" A familiar spoke, Aeron. Ephy started shaking with fear.
'Damn it!' Night thought as he turned around to see who it was. Aeron.... Night felt how she Ephy was shacking. "We will be alright." He whispered softly to her.
"Oh, Ephemeral.. Sister dear. This is your 3rd attempt to escape. First I took your hope, then your sight. What shall I do with you?" Aeron smirked. Ephy looked away, knowing the only thing keeping the beasts silent was Aerons spells.
'Th-third time?!' Night was surprised by that, and also what she used as a punishment for her rather than killing her, althoug maybe it was because she aparently was her sister. Night remained silent.
"Maybe I could make you deaf. That way you cant know who youre with." Aeron chuckled. Ephemeral frowned, "You know I am no use to this place! I cant fight, I can barely walk with falling. Why not just let me go?" She hissed. "Maybe I could just kill you. You know, 3 strikes and youre out." Aeron calmly replied.
"Don't you dare touch Ephy!" Night said grabbing his sword and getting ready to fight, although he was planning to get out of there as soon as possible with Ephy.
Night growled something and backed away slowly, still having Ephy in his back. He oppened the gate and left with her.
