Daniel thinks for a second, then twists his wrist, taking his hand off. "What about this?" He asks, showing her the wires and circuits inside his hand.
Ana's eyes widened, and her hand went to her mouth. "Oh. It does that." she said, eyebrows furrowing.
"I didn't expect it." she said. She took a deep breath, and nodded. "Okay. We'll tell her.. soon. I just..." She looked up at Daniel. "It was really difficult after he...left. I know he's doing this for our protection, but.." She trailed off.
"Exactly. She wasn't angry before; you can't help dying, but to know he was alive the whole time might be too much for her to handle." A knock sounded at the door which made Ana jump. "I'll get it!" called Claire cheerfully. Ana rubbed her temples. "I guess she'll just have to deal with it."
Daniel gets up, trying to peek through the window. "Do people normally come to your door?" He asks, opening a blind.
"Well, the worst case scenario is that they're from your dad's old company, and then they're here to look for me."
"Alright." As Ana led the way down the hall, she dragged a hand along the wall. "I'm sure it's nothing, I mean, they would have to have a really fast reaction time.." said Ana, trailing off when she notice the ajar door. "Mom?" She hurried to the door and looked outside. (I'm going to assume she's been taken. Is that okay? I know you're the GM, so I just want to make sure with you.)
"Yeah... Uh, where's... Oh no..." Daniel gulps, looking around. " (Oh, um... When I do one on ones, unless specified, I think both players should have free reign over smaller plot points, and agree on the larger one)
(Would you consider this small or large?) Ana turned to Daniel. "Did they take her?" she said, her voice controlled and quiet.
(Well, leading up to a larger, possibly... So... Small) Daniel looks around, then looks outside. "Well, I don't think anyone leaving of their own will would forget a shoe..."
