Ana looked like she had been punched i the stomach. Her face turned pale, even more so than normal, and her chest began to rise and fall rapidly. "So.. So.." she managed, her voice shaky. "We.. We don't know where she is?"
She opened the garage and got in the car. Her keys clinked as her hands shook, and she backed out of the driveway. "Which way?" she asked.
They drove in silence for a short time, with Ana gripping the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles dabbled with red and yellow. She had a very sudden way of driving, as if she only decided what she was going to do when she was doing it.
Daniel looks out the window, keeping a grip on the car door. "If they manage to restrain or capture me, I want you to run. They can reprogram me, turn me into a killing machine... And there might not be a way of turning me back." He says, adjusting his wrist. "I may not have guns, but I am bulletproof, except for point blank, and sniper rifles. So use me as cover."
She thought about it carefully. "I don't think you should go in." she said, her eyebrows furrowed. "Not because you don't have the power, but more because you are what they want. I'll seem less noticeable by myself."
Daniel thinks, then reaches ino his pocket, taking out a small box with what looked like two contacts inside. "If you put these in, I'll be able to see what you see, and talk to you through text. No audio, however..."
"Alright." she said, parking the car. She grimaced as she took the contacts. "I always comforted myself thinking that since I had perfect vision, I wouldn't have to wear these." she said, placing them on her eyes.
Dark blinks, seeing himself. "Now, I can't see out of my own eyes, so park a bit away from the building..." He says.
"Okay." she said, blinking repeatedly. She backed out of the parking slot, and drove down a block or so. She parked the car for a second time, and got out. "Alright. Where would they be keeping her?" she asked through the door.
"Let me test the contacts." Daniel says, showing the blueprints for the building. They were transparent enough to be able to see through, and not very distracting. -Can you see alright?- appears below it. -Blink twice for yes, three times for no-
-Good, now, the best way to get to her would be to get captured, but... That's not smart. You'll need to find an area with a vent access and no cameras-
