"Perhaps... I could teach you emotion manipulation, at least to the capacity to use it on yourself? It's not unicorn magic, so your fire issue might not affect it."
"Oh- Was I-? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to control you or anything that last time! I just wanted to help!"
he sighed. "oh, you're fine. it was fine for giving a try, but it's not a desirable long-term solution" he said, then frowned again. "....I don't think it's worn off. even though I really don't mind that much, I'd normally be shouting right now, if only because there was no other way to vent."
"Well, that's a relief. Hmmm. I don't forsee any magical solution for this problem, just counseling, which I am unfortunately unable to provide."
"....I tried counseling once. twice, actually. the first time, I ended up burning the place down, the second I managed to just be so obnoxiously, constantly furious they stopped counseling me"
"Ohoho. I ensure you, 7 years in a Changeling conversion cocoon is much worse than a normal prison. I'd have to read up on the subject of counselling though, so you don't need to worry about anything right now."
Star spent the night sticking her muzzle in books on Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, among others. Nothing turned up as to how to fix problems related to what Solon has. She woke up in the morning, with her face in a book, as per usual.
Smoke wafted into Star's nostrils, and she rushed to the kitchen. Noticing the stove was on fire, she panicked and doused it with water from her horn once her amulet was off. She quickly snapped it back on and looked at Solon. "So, what happened here?"
he shrugged, grinning ruefully. "I was trying to make pancakes" he said. "I apparently should not be trusted with cooking"
