Camilla whistles with her fingers, and a roar is heard in the distance. Another dragon was on the way. Iguru) Clancy, go with Ryouma to the castle. I'll stay behind. Clancy) Yes, my lord. The two commanders run off to the castle, where the Hoshidans were just barely managing to hold the Nohr invaders off. The Pegasus Warriors had sent for reinforcements but they were about an hour away. While the Nohr soldiers had not yet managed to breach the inner sanctum of the castle, the Hoshidans were running out of cannonballs. Iguru rushed Camilla in a frenzied rage, eager to get his sister back before her dragon arrived.
(Levian) *blocks Iguru* *raises a wind barrier around Iguru and I* *readies Sorrenild* Camilla! Get her back to the camp's prison! I'll hold off Iguru!
Iguru) I will fight you if that is what you wish. Don't expect me to hold back! He extends his free hand, shooting a gout of fire at Levian, forcing him to defend. He swings his light-imbued sword, causing explosions at Levian's feet. He kept this up, never missing a beat, and wouldn't stop until he knew his foe was incinerated. Which he knew would take a while. The addition of Clancy and Ryouma to the defense of the castle made things a breeze. Lightning crackled in the air as Ryouma swung his katana, and Nohrians were constantly paranoid due to a mysterious sharpshooter dropping them like flies. Soon, the Hoshidan flag was raised over the castle, and Nohrian forces were already starting to move the wounded off the battlefield, as were the Hoshidans. Shoko was thrown in a carrige bound for the Nohrian capitol, her arms and legs bound and chained to a pole. She tried to melt the chains with fire magic, but without a tome, she couldn't summon enough heat to melt them. She kept trying anyway, burning her wrists several times.
(Levian) *maintains distance* *grabs Lifetaker tome* -A shadowy tentacle wraps around Iguru and tightens grip before exploding into a storm of shadowy purple lighting- *strikes Iguru's exposed chainmail with Sorrenild, dealing BONUS DAMAGE!*
(BONUS DUCKS) Iguru) You're not bad. I will admit, that stung quite a bit. But I see you've taken some damage as well. Iguru was regarding Leviathan's armour, which had been broken and exposed skin in several places. His sword flashed black, and he dissipated into shadows, reappearing behind him, and slashing down with Tamen-Sei very strongly, breaking off a moderately large chunk of armour, before flashing back. Clancy) Your highness, this way! Clancy ran quickly away from the dragon, occasionally firing volleys of arrows at oil lamps or the dragon's eyes to slow it down. When Ryoma and Clancy arrived at their destination, the castle courtyard, Clancy fired an arrow at the rope holding up the gate, causing it to collapse on the dragon's neck. Ryoma) Your skill with a bow is unparalleled. He said, approaching the dragon, and drawing his sword, plunging it into the beast's head, killing it.
(Dragon) *punches lift gate* *fires Goetia breath at Ryoma* (Levian) *uses Elixir to regenerate armor and health* *gets ready to defend* I'm not done with you.
(Last post for the night, heading out places with my friends.) Iguru takes a swig of elixir as well. Iguru) Don't expect me to give up either.
(Levian) Now the real fight begins. (Dragon) *rips metal shards out of neck before clawing at Ryoma* *fires Goetia breath at Clancy*
Iguru's sword burned brighter and more intensely than before. He was ready to strike at his enemy in the blink of an eye. Clancy ducked behind a ruined rampart, which shielded him from the blast. However, he couldn't peek his head out to fire an arrow without running the risk of being blasted again. Ryoma, mean while, was fighting the Dragon close up, amazed at it's durability.
-Ryoma recognizes the smell of the dragon as being that of something dead- (Dragon) Hrurrrrrr..... *delivers a megaton punch to send Ryoma flying into a wall* GRYAAAAH!!!
The two commanders circle eachother, silently, ready for the other to attack. Ryouma) Clancy! The Dragon is undead, that is why it is taking so many hits! He said, as he used his sword to get back up on his feet. Clancy) I see. Then perhaps Silver Arrows will be effective? Clancy peeked up out of cover for a split second, and fired a glistening metallic arrow into the Dragon's wing.
Ryoma) Well, it definitely doesn't like them! I'll keep it distracted, just keep shooting! Iguru extends his free hand forward, a flash of intense light emanates from Niju-Sei. Iguru runs forwards and delivers a series of fluid strikes to different points on Levian's Armour.
(Levian) *delivers a counter-attack to Iguru for every strike that hits* *jumps back* *activates Vengeful Wrath* *eyes turn red* -distorted voice- I HATE YOU!!! *hits Iguru 5 times at half damage with Lifetaker from a distance, adding the damage that Iguru inflicted to the power of the attacks, which brings Iguru to his knees*
Iguru pushed Tamen-Sei on the ground, and got back up. -Vantage activates- Iguru) I'll take the initiative! Tamen-Sei was wreathed in deadly lightning magic, which tore up the ground as Iguru ran at Levian at super human speeds. The sword connects with Levian's armour, blowing off the entire front plate. Iguru) Look at that. It seems we're both unprotected. I suppose the next strike wins. He was panting heavily, but from the looks of it, so was Levian. Iguru) We may be enemies, but I have to say, you've given me the best fight I've had in a while.
(Levian) Likewise....But why waste your energy on a distraction, when you should be worried about the dragon? (Dragon II) *swoops down into the wind barrier and pins Iguru down, knocking his weapons away from him* (Levian) It's nothing personal, Iguru. I'm just bound by my position to defend this land for King Garon.
Iguru looked to both his sides. One of his gauntlets was not too far away from him. In reaching distance, in fact. He carefully slipped on the casting gauntlet, and slapped the Dragon's forehead, and administered a powerful shock, throwing it off balance. He rolled out of it's grasp, grabbed Tamen-Sei and his other gauntlet. He knew he couldn't fight both of them at once. He had to run.
