Snow looked around, "We are acually on a residential street, no stores or restrauants. But I know of a really good one just a block or so down the courner."
"You two go... I'll... Stay here and.... um..... wright.... stuff...." He pulled out a pen and paper to make it look like he was wrighting. 'Once they leave I can try to fly without embarrasment...' He thought to himself.
(Yes, yes we should, but if they take too long, like a day or two, I'm just gonna say they had to go)
Shield nodded. "Yeah, I guess I could use some food. I can pay for myself, though." He wasn't about to make it look like he was mooching off his new friends. Besides, one benefit of having rich snobby parents was that you had lots of money; he could easily afford lunch. He was about to set off in the direction Snow had indicated when he noticed Dark wasn't planning on coming. "Wait, you're not coming? Why not?"
Dark Shine noticed Shield picking up on him not coming. "oh.... Um..... Well.... I... have my own lunch and.... I need to wright a letter to my parents... and Um.... Yeah..." He began to stutter the more he talked and his face began to turn a bright red.
Silver Shield saw that he was upsetting the pegasus, and quickly interjected: "Well, if you don't want to, that's fine. I mean, we aren't forcing you or anything. You can stay here if you want..."
Jhera turned back and saw the two ponies conversing. "He doesn't want to come, c'mon already! We'll see you later, Dark!" he turned back forward and followed Snow up the block.
(Sorry, sorry! I'm usually not online during the weekends. Gomen nasai!) Quill's tummy rumbled at the mention of food. He had been feeling a bit peckish since this morning. He knew the area that Snow was indicating fairly well. As a matter of fact, he knew of a great place where one could obtain an excellent Mango Carrot Banana Pepper wrap. He drooled slightly just thinking about it. Then he snickered a bit. His Aunt would positively do a backflip if she knew that Quill was planning on eating "that rubbish". Quill knew the importance of a good uninterrupted writing session (they came few and far between for poor Quill), and wished not to disturb Dark Shine. "I hope you catch up with us when you've finished!" he said as he trotted off to join the others.
"Here it is, its one of the restraunts that my father owns, Parure du Sud, which is just Fancy for Southern Finery." She said as the stood in front of the restraunt. A delicous smell of a variety of grilled and smoked vegatables and fruit floated through the air from the restrauant, "Come on guys." Snow said motioning to the door, "Have you never tryed Southern food before?"
"It certainly smells good." Jhera nodded. "I'm generally used to western food though, so this will be a nice change!" He was about to walk in when he stopped and blushed. "I...uhh...don't have any bits..." He said, clearly embarrassed. "My family doesn't exactly have very much money, so I didn't bring any with me. I thought it would be wrong to steal from what little we already have. I know this is a lot, but could one of you buy my food?" he turned and looked back at the group hopefully.
Snow laughed, "Don't worry Jhera, not only are you looing at the daughter of the very stallion who owns this restrauant, but also the daughter of one of the riches ponies in Canterlot! I have more than enough to cover for you, now lets go in." and they went through the door. As soon as they stepped in, they were bombarded by sights and delicous smells, every last detail aimed to make them hungrier, yet dispite that you could watch your food being cooked behind the counter, it was still high class enough to appeal to the common Canterlot inhabitant. After the waiter quickly reconized Snow, they were sat in short order. They were right next to the grill and could almost taste the food cooking behind the counter, "So, what do y'all think!" Snow asked, her accent becoming more noticable as she relaxed. (gosh dang it, I'm makin my own mouth water!)
(Sorry guys I have been extremely busy with deep sea fishing and relatives weddings) Arcane eventually stopped crying and landed on the ground to rest his wings. He continued to do so until he came what he believed to be a small town. As he approached it was bigger than he thought, but was still a town. He wandered throughout it amazed at seeing other ponies that weren't his brother. Arcane was hungry, tired, and scared. Eventually he found a nice little ally to sleep in. From conversations he over heard he led himself to believe the name of this place was ponyville.
(I'm loving this so far, partially for the fact that it's one of the few RP's ever to take place in Canterlot!) Jhera sat at the table and looked at Snow. "This is great! You said your father owns this place, right? You guys must be loaded!" He stared into the window and drooled over all the food sitting behind it. "I haven't seen so much food in one spot in my LIFE!" He looked at her. "Is this how you eat every day? If so, I could get used to living with you!" When somepony asked what they wanted to eat, he immediately jumped up and shot off a list of a ton of different types of steamed vegetables. The waiter just looked at him when he was done. "Are you sure you can eat all that...?" He inquired. "I mean, you're a little thin already, and that's a dinner fit for a king!" Jhera went back over what he had just asked for, and he realized the waiter was right. "On second thought, I'll just have some lettuce and carrots..." he said.
Snow stopped Jhera, "Wait, I have a better idea." Snow whispered something into the waiter's ear and he smirked an ran off to the kitchen, "What is about to be bestowed upon this table is food the likes y'all have never seen before!" Snow said dramatically.
Arcane was to hungry to sleep so he decided to go see what he could find. He was only able to find barely a slice of apple pie that was edible. He wasn't full but he at least ate something. Arcane was still scared of other ponies so everything he did was when no one was looking. He had 10 bits his brother had found in the everfree forest, but he wasn't sure how money worked. Arcane got more confused every time he tried to think of what to do. Eventually he just chose to trot around an see were he could hide for the night. He got side tracked when somepony through a piece of paper away. It was half a map of Equestria. there was a pretty place called Canterlot on the map. He turned around to ask his brother if they could go, but then he realized he didn't have his brother. He went and started towards Canterlot.
Once the others had walked off Dark Shine checked to make sure nopony was looking. At the clear he clambered onto a bench and leaned over the edge (Remember he was very small at this age). He bounded of and tried to fly. His wings were trying to keep up with his body though and he ended up spiralling down the ally where the others had just went. He stopped himself sliding into the restraunt and trotted back to the bench. 'maybe my talent is bieng clumbsy' he thought, tears welling up in the back of his eyes.
Arcane flew into Canterlot looking for somewhere he could rest when nightfall came. As he searched he saw a pony that looked sad. He flew down to him. Arcane reached into his saddlebag and pulled out his old blanket. He put it over the pony and walked off. "He probably needs it more than me." Arcane thought to himself.
