(I'm sorry in the in the RPG's on a different forum we didn't get detailed) LoveStar ran to her house and went to her room. She stared at how many pictures she had of her parents on their wedding day. She never understood why she loved them so much. Then she went downstairs to grab an apple. LoveStar went back outside after finishing the apple and decided to see if any of her friends where home. Then she went to the libary to get some magic books.
(Ah, there are Paragraph RPs and Line RPs. You'll find most, if not all, of the roleplays on this site are Paragraph RPs. )
(Yeah, I like to fancy paragraph roleplays are like writing a story, except everyone writes it, and only from one character's point of view. I imagine the line ones to be a bit like chatting or instant messaging. ...Yeah, just sharing my weird views of the world here. ) Silver was a little jealous of Jhera; after all, he got to stay here in this nice house, with these parents who seemed so much less judgemental than his... he pouted a little, but only for a second; despite his disagreements with his parents, he had been brought up to be a mature young colt, and that was how he knew he should act.
As Snow showed them around the house, her dad suddenly popped his head around the corner, "Hey, Silver, you said you of the Sheild's right? I feel sorry for you, tryed to get them to eat at one of my restrauants one time, did not go well." Snow decided to ask her dad about his cutie mark story, "Hey Dad, can you tell us how you got your cutie mark, please?". "Of course little one, everypony! Follow me!" and Billy lead them down the stairs into a large dining area, and then past that to a smaller one that was used for family only nights. "Alright little ones, take a seat and I will tell ya the story!" he said. "Well let's see here, it was a long time ago, back when I lived in a small country town by the name of Troubadour I believe; it was that or Dourtroba, can never remember way. Anyways, the Mark's owned the largest ranch around, and I had the delight of being raised on it. Now, if you looked at the marks for the Mark family, you'll find that it's all, oh what are they called, pronunciation something or another, but almost none of us had any kind of connection with fancy literature. So I tried everything a ranchboy could do, from rodeo's to cattle driving', but nothin' worked! So, one day, I was walking in the field when I just get this feeling ya know, one that your standing on something great. So I convince my uncle to start drillin' there, and sure 'nough, we found black gold. Later I relieved that my mark had appeared, the exclamation point on my flank to this very day."
(Snow's dad's ecstatic behavior reminds me of the 10th incarnation of Doctor Who) "So," Jhera said. "You're mark represents your taste for excitement? I learned in school that each mark represents a specific attribute about a pony. Come to think of it, now that I'm to live here, where is the school?" Jhera saw his confused face, and realized what he said. "Oh! Right! Sorry, I'm to be living here for the next few months, if it isn't too much!"
Billy laughed, "Oh yes, Julia told me! How silly that I forgot! Oh and come to think of it, dinner's going to be ready soon, so if any of y'all wanna stay for the night, you are more than welcome to." and with that he left.
Hears off in the distance his name being called and recognizes the voice as his sister. He gets up and puts the book back into his bag and runs off towards the sound wondering what's going on as he gallops and flaps his wings and eventually hovers barely above the ground and lands right in front of his sister, who explained that she was only worried about him cause she did not know where he went and it was getting dark. He explains what he was doing and showed her the sketch he made then she pushes him into the house and closes the door.
Dark Shine nodded thinking it would delay time for him to see his parents early. "That was a great story! It would be an honour to stay!" He smiled.
Wishing he could stay, but knowing that his parents would never allow it, Silver politely declined the gesture of hospitality.
Dark Shine frowned when he heard that Silver was not going to stay. "Why not?" He tried to make it as subtle as possible and not rude.
"Oh...er...well..." mumbled Silver. "My parents...would...er...uhh...they're very protective!" Yeah, that's a good excuse, he thought. I can't let them know how snobby my parents really are... "Yeah, they don't like me to stay at other ponies' houses unless they know the family really, REALLY well."
Dark Shine heard a whirr of a carriage outside. He looked to see a mail Pony carrying a note to his Parents from the Cadets. "Oh No! Um..... I... Gotta run!" And with that he ran off, hitting the door before opening it waving goodbye. "I'll have to catch up with you! Tommorow? Outside here?" Then he ran off after the Mail Pony.
"Silver, you do realize that my parents know just about every other rich family in Canterlot right? I bet your parents know mine extremely well, because in my experience, money tends to trump values and thoughts." Snow reassured Silver
Silver stamped his front hooves against the floor in a nervous manner. "Ah. Well, it's possible..." said Silver. He knew he should say something else, but he couldn't think of anything else to say. He just stood there awkwardly, looking around the room. After a few moments, he recovered from his nervous silence. "Well, um, I guess I could ask them."
