I don't have a problem with cloppers. I don't pretend to UNDERSTAND them, but then, it's not required that I understand them, anymore than anyone is required to understand me. Whatever makes them happy.

Except for the fact that none of this is real, therefore connecting the paradox that is in truth not so much as a reality rather than something fictional depicted in an attractive way.

It's like saying Zombies are real. They don't exist, but they are portayed in a way that make people want them to exist (Or rather, not want them to exist.).

Now, as you may be thinking, 'Well R34 and such doesn't mean I want it to be real.' This is not the message I'm trying to convey. It is a work of fiction, whereas this young man pointed out that it is in fact a reality. Which, as we should all (Hopefully) know, is not true.

Works of fiction should be fiction, no matter how attractive it may seem.

    I'm cool with zombies existing.

    Just not any time soon.

With a shotgun in my hands, and some C4, sure I'd love zombies to be real.

    Portal quotes ftw! :D

Not really a paradox. You just didn't understand what I said. When I say "reality" I mean it in a relative sense. Not comparing to what is our reality, obviously. That'd be silly. Hence why I had it in quotation marks in my response.

Wow, I played Portal 2 and didn't realize that was a quote. Now I feel sad. I smash my face off my wall now.

Mmm... I don't know why I don't remember it. Was it one of the hidden quotes?

It honestly doesn't matter what context it's in. Whether the perception is on-quote reality or just plain reality, it is still a work of fiction. Just because it exists doesn't mean it's real. Which probably doesn't make sense unless you think about it.

Fiction is fiction, there is no 'reality', quote or no, about it.

If anything, it is by attractiveness and style rather than the 'reality' of it.

On the flip side, we can say that just because it is a reality, does not mean it exists.

After all, there are as many realities as there are people, because we all see everything differently.

No. It was when you were going through one of his test chambers, and he talks about asbestos poisoning. He says, "Good news is, the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show a median latency of forty-four point six years, so if you're thirty or older, you're laughing. Worst case scenario, you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face."

:DFH: That moment when you realize that you are saying the exact same thing I'm saying. I know it's fiction. That's obvious. Basically you are now essentially repeating what I said, except you aren't using a relativistic approach. Which is, despite your claim, a very valid contextual view. You just choose to approach it differently. However, I see we both arrive at the same conclusion. That's all that really matters. Although, the part where you say, "Just because it exists doesn't mean it's real," can make for some interesting discussion, but I won't delve into that in this thread.

I think it's best if we keep things like this to ourselves. We've already established that clopping is a common thing and people shouldn't be attacked/shunned/etc, but we don't need this to become a confession thread either.

We're essentially discussing a private topic.
What people are attracted to, and what they do to pleasure themselves is a private matter that is recommended to be kept private. I have no problem with it, if anything, I'm all for backing up the fact that there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it's a sensitive topic for most.

I feel like it's becoming some sort of admittance thread.

Cloppers should definitely be tolerated. People who don't are shortsighted. I don't clop personally but I also don't do a lot of things that I tolerate because it's in human nature so we must find a way to accept anything or as much as we can. It's just a good moral decision to tolerate everything.

On a side note, I'm mad about some bronies I've seen on Facebook calling fat people names or people with different lifestyle choices. And these people who are overweight are fellow bronies. The ones who make fun of them shouldn't even be called bronies if they say oh yeah love and tolerate all the skinny people who believe in the same things I do. They aren't doing it right.
