We've listened to your opinion and the staff are now organizing fanfic readings for the radio. We're sorting out the when and how, so I'd like to ask if there's any particular stories or ways you want us to do it. Would you like us to try and get the author to read it, or the radio staff, or perhaps you guys? How would the fics get chosen? Post your ideas below!
Maybe have them send in ideas of fanfics to be read... then hold a poll to see which one the community wants to hear more. ^^ Same with who should read it. xD Polls are fun.. ;
I like this idea, and we also need to see who can do the best Brian Blessed voice and have them read EVERYTHING.

This seems like an excellent idea. I like Harley's suggestion on what fanfic gets read and who reads it. That would certainly be more organized than simply having everypony post those individually. An optional area to explain why you made a particular choice in the poll could help as a deciding factor as well. I agree with Dragonbait on finding somepony with a good Brian Blessed impression heh.
I always suggest that picking ideas out of a hat always works, or possibly every certain # you pick that fic to read?
Or ya know, We could do what every art has done since the making of theatre. Audition. It doesn't even have to be that long of a process. 1.Fanficts get sent in 2.Fanfict gets chosen (Via Poll of course; For Harley) 3.Announce fanfict and start audituons (Run them for about 4-5 days. Mics are a needed... Redundant but you know how "smart" humans are.) VA's VA Backups Narrator Narrator Backups, Ect... 4.Close Auditions and set it all up. May sound like alot but it's very simple and more effective then a poll. (No offense Harley)

That's a good idea placid, but there should be a limit to how many people can audition. We don't want to flood the mods with too many auditions, but otherwise, a really good idea!
I have never been very interested in the radio component of EP, but this certainly grabs my attention. Please incorporate fanfic readings into the radio with all due haste!
I suggest against this plan. Unless characters are voiced, this will be like the Actual radio stations in Canada that do readings. Or used to. Before they shut down due to lack of interest and copyright infringement. XP Sent from my Transformer
I think there should be a vote based on several popular/highly rated fics, and be done on a scheduled time so that one won't get surprised by it when they're listening to music or something.
