And then they all went to Earth (no, not that Earth, the other one) where they befriended Darkwing Duck and Spider-Man and then they had to save the Earth (the fifth one from the right) by having a tea party with Skeletor in Neverland, but Son Goku couldn't power up anymore because he lost faith in his cards, so Twilight Sparkle (who, by this time, went by the name Sakura Fernandez McDouglas) transformed into a Sailor Scout with the help of Arielle and Captain Planet and all the people of Earth (or Earth, or maybe Earth, I lost count) could live happily ever after. Until the sequel came and negated everything, of course. Yup, it all makes perfect sense to me.
That's what made saving the Earth a problem to begin with. I assure you it all makes sense in context.
Hmmmm... well, considering how well-written the rest of the story seems to be, I suppose I can let it slide. :derpe:
You are not mocked for writing fanfiction. You are being mocked because you said "This makes sense in my fanfiction" when it did not. And then you tried to make us understand by making it lose what little logic it had. Apparently not. I personally don't need a explanation. And there exists a lot of explanations that makes more sense.
I read those. My mind did not explode. Do you know why? They're actually good. Also their authors aren't jerks.
I'm not a jerk, I just have trouble socializing. Sometimes, I end up offending people without meaning to. This is one of those times. So, I apologize to you, Heimdall, and to anyone else I may have offended. The truth is, I don't have the answer to this question. Maybe it's just Sunset's nature as an unicorn. Maybe it's a "PiƱon Fijo y La Magia de La Musica" thing where all music is inherently a conduit for magic. Maybe Princess Celestia intervened and blessed Sunset with powers of her own. I just don't know.
I guess I had just assumed that magic is magic, and thus isn't really bound by rules that we're familiar with. Maybe spells work differently in the human world than the pony world. Maybe spells are stronger on Tuesdays. Hard to tell.
