Yeah, the iris does look kinda weird. It doesn't matter, though, since when I put her into her costume, she won't have her irises or pupils anymore because of the mask.
That's a pretty cool image, Rainbow Scout! Why isn't Scout crying, though? XD Presenting... Robinaloo the Filly Wonder! As you can see, unlike Batmare, she has a cape. The reason Batmare didn't have one is because a cape would get in the way of her wings, which she needs for flight. Robinaloo, however, only needs her wings for powering her scooter, the Red Pegasus, so it's ok for her to have a cape.
YAAAAY! Now crime has an enemy! ò.óv
Dang, I just posted Robinaloo on dA, and less than a minute afterward, people have already favorited it! Also, apparently people like the whole "Ponies as Heroes" thing(including me), so I'm probably going to another one next. I kinda want to move away from the Batman group, though, so it probably won't be Lunawing or Batfilly(speaking of which, who would that be, anyway?). Who should I do next?
Finished something this morning that I've had sitting on the back burner for weeks now, Doesn't look like much, and certainly not something that I should have had so much trouble with. It's a basic template (I love doing these things) for use with both RPG Maker 2000 and RPG Maker 2003. The sprites fit within the 24x32 border barrier that the program allows. Now I why I had so much trouble with this rested upon those limitations; How can I retain the MLP style on such a small canvas? will I be able to animate it properly? What about tiny details like wings and cutie marks? Well it all turned out for the best and not only was I able to make something that looked good, but also animated smoothly within RPG Makers two frame animation limit(not counting exploits and the idle pose)
@Jett Blazewing THE AMAZING SPIDERSHY!!! (Spiderman Flutter shy. Or would twilight work better, as she is more Peter Parker-y?)
Oh no! She got you! That does sound like an interesting possibility. So sorry, Blu-Cup; I've been ignoring your recent work to talk about mine! It's a really cool template! I may just have to make Jett from it. I may edit the eyes, though; the whole "constantly half-closed" thing doesn't really suit his personality. EDIT: Tenor, I may just say that it's a Halloween costume she's wearing, though; Applejack wouldn't really do what Candlejack does. She wouldn't kidn
Not a problem. I'm used to it afterall, as pixel art doesn't get the same type of attention as traditional art. Thanks though; And if you'd like, I could make Jett for you. The eyes thing I can easily remedy, as I need to do it for Azure himself anyway as, like for Jett, doesn't suit his personality. Great vectors, btw. I faved Batmare on DA.
Thank you for the favorite! Sorry that your art doesn't get as much attention as it should. Also, it'd be awesome if you could do Jett! I may just try it myself too, just to see how bad I do in comparison. Plus, I kinda want to get a good idea of what Jett's wings will look like folded up, since in the three pictures I have of him, his wings are outstretched. [tangent] Maybe after a few more mane cast vectors, I'll make one of him like that. Or flying through the air and leaving a fiery-looking trail(he works differently than Rainbow Dash; while her trail comes from her mane, his comes from his wings since that's obviously the most noticeable thing about him). Or both. I dunno.[/tangent] Anyway, yeah. That'd be awesome and I'd appreciate it. Thank you in advance. That's looking nice! Also, yeah, I can understand laziness. I can sometimes be lazy too.
I felt in the mood to make something today, so I made a picture: There is no image editor I love more than Pixelmator for mac.
looks good testy^^ though the glow around the unicorns Horn looks a bit odd, should be a bit smoother. I didn't colour, it yet, but I drew Lyra yesterday^^ also: my Entry for the Pony-tography: (bigger version: http://desaster-master.deviantart.com/art/Ponies-on-Vinyl-245286613 ) I tried making Vectors from my drawings (with Adobe Fireworks), but can't get it to look good, maybe anypony knows a good tutorial or something?
DisasterMaster: Have you tried putting the sketch on 40% transparent, locking it and drawing the vectors on another layer?
