well, when I colour a pic, like pinkie above, I just take the photographed scetch, crank up the contrast, so I only got the lines, erase everything what's too much, and colour it. But I kinda rather would have some Vectors of my Drawings, but until I got enough practice, I'm gonna stick with pixels I think^^ Edit: Lyra again
Like I said, 1) Put your sketch as transparent 2) Lock it 3) Insert a blank, transparent layer 4) Draw on that layer This will make your drawing cleaner. NEVER color straight from the sketch, because the quality goes downhill. And this does NOT need to be vector - I don't use vector when drawing ponies.
Well, considering this isa RANDOM pony-related thread, I might as well leave this here. It wasn't originally going to be Applejack. In fact, I don't know what it was meant to be. I was just playing around on SAI. I gave up half way through, it was like 2 in the morning.
*taps hooves together akwardly* I always thought Fluttershy would make a good Coltwoman (Catwoman) ,and Rarity would make a nifty Harly Quinn. (I don't have a pun for that one.) Sorry if the idea is a bit late.
THAT THING STARES INTO MY SOUL!!!!!! @ Paint-Splash Never too late for these things! I was thinking of Making Spike into Spawn. And am I the only one who thinks that the CMC+ Spike need to be made into the Fantastic Four? (Human torch=Scootaloo, Invisible Woman= Sweetie Bell, Mr. Fantastic= Apple Bloom, the Thing = Spike....Or something like that!)
I feel ashamed that the first peice of art I have to present to you guys is this thing XD I got interested in the fabulous vector work of someone on here (Can't remember the name) and decided to give it a shot. Lets just say I'm looking forward to alot of practice... (How do you make GIMP vector do curves!!!??) (I promise I will redeem myself with traditional art soon.)

I don't know if this count's as art, per say, but I know Rarity would want jewelry making in there. Made myself an MLP necklace, which will be debuted on the first day of school.
