Random Pony-related Art Thread

....and yet her teeth still look great...they're so white....her eyes scare the crap out of me though...

 

I was going to make the eyes much worse, but I opted against it. I've got some really messed up ideas involving eyes, I probably won't post them here though.

 

Really? *imagines the worst things you can do with eyes*.....O__O...

 

Okay, putting grimdark aside for now, it's my cousin's 7th birthday tomorrow, but I never actually get to see her (she lives in Virginia). Never the less, I do try to remain in contact with that part of my family, as they're really nice people. So, I always try to send something acknowledging their birthday's and what not. After all, they do the same for me every year without fail. My cousin, who was introduced to my Little Pony via Friendship is Magic (the older generations were before her time), absolutely loves the show. Pinkie Pie is her favourite character, so I decided to make her this.



It's only a quick throw up, as it's more about the thought than the actual art. I am thinking of making it a bit smaller though.

I ponified the main character from Xenoblade.

 

I know nothing of Xenoblade, but that pony looks boss.

 

Okay, just need a bit of critique here. Which one of these is better? If it's not too much, do you reckon I could also get a reason as to why? It would be much appreciated, and help me more than you think.




My basic concern is that I'm not sure if the eye reflections and lighting work. Do they? As I said, it would help me a lot.



EDIT: It's worth pointing out that this isn't the best I could do, I just needed to get it done.

 

I like the second ones look,but maybe dim the light a little behind her.

I like the first one the most-- It's very stylish with the scribbly black lines.

A friend went on a week-long vacation and just got back tonight. I made this for him before he left and teased him about it, telling him that he was going to have to wait for it.
