I don't know, if this fits this thread, sorry if not, but whatever.^^ I haven't really drawn anything since almost 1 month D: But this is my first try on some Perspective, so it's nothing great, and only a sketch for now, but what do you think? (the pose is just some idea I got last night, maybe a hugs pic, now that I see it? we'll see!^^)
Awesome Blue-cup^^ I can't wait for S02 and Greynbowdash D: ^^ (and for BF3 xD) so here's a more refined Scootahugs! :
Okay. I'm no artist, but I am in need of a piece of work to be done. I am reluctant to commission a work here because the purpose of this thread is to POST art, not ask for it........If you think this is out of line, tell me and I will delete this post! Could some artist pony-fy the following image? Spoiler: Please? I am a fan of the movie and haven't seen any pony art of it, despite the fact that EVERYBODY loves this movie.....right? Oh well. But I will be your Scootaloo if you do!
That's fantastic BC, it really is. The blurring works perfectly. I'm curious as to how you make these. Do you draw a rough sketch, then use that as a rough guide to place the pixels? Or do you literally do it pixel by pixel?
Thanks. In the beginning, I was doing as you said by making a rough sketch and then resizing it and finally drawing over it with a more refined outline. Now however, I have a template that I work with that's sorta like a model sheet that the animators of the show uses. It's constantly evolving with new poses and such all the time. Spoiler: model sheet
http://blue-cup.deviantart.com/art/GO-GUMMY-257164480 Wanted to take another crack at animating, so I went with a simple -but awesome- character to test it on.
Okay, since I'm colourblind, I have a bit of trouble colouring my pictures, as what I think they look like isn't necessarily what they do look like. Just a question, does this colour scheme work? Of course, it's nowhere near finished, it's still a baby, really. I just need to know if those colours are what I should go with when I get to it. Oh and ignore the background white, I don't know what to do with that yet.
Woah, kinky. The eye wrap reminds me of Nosferatu from Resident Evil Code Veronica for some reason. I'm guessing you were going with a more subdued color scheme, yes? If so, it looks fine.
Drawing the rest of it is going to be so awkward now. Also, must check out this Nosferatu. Heard the name before, from the old films, but I've never played the Resident Evils. But yeah, I wanted her to be paler, but have darker hair. I didn't want her to be as vibrant as she is in the show. God I hate my eyesight, it's so embarassing having to ask about colours. Anyway, more pixel art, I've been stunned at your work. Have you considered turning professional somehow?
Naw, I'm just kidding around. As for the Nosferatu-comparison, Spoiler: Nosferatu Aw, you got the look you wanted so it can't be all that bad. I'll have something at some point... Heh, I'm just out of ideas at the moment. And no, this is just a hobby. I'm nowhere near a level that I could do this professionally.
Hey, if you have a Fluttertree fetish, nobody here will judge... But really, it may be a hobby, but there's nothing about your images that could be considered amateur. Even if it was just helping out with some 8-bit game/song artowrk, you're good enough to use it to get you places. If you want, of course. I would link a video of Fluttershy saying 'if that's okay with you', but I'll be honest, I can't be bothered.
I have been asked for a few things, but I just don't like working on a schedule. I do this stuff at my own pace and as a way to relax. Thank you for your kind words. I have something different for everypony today, Spoiler: A COMIC! based on this silly commercial, Spoiler: this one
