Rashall's journey to Manehatten (role play)

"Oh, well okay." Uniqua says, humming once more.

 

Rashall just sits and listens to it all, he pulls a small cloth bag out of a small chest. The bag contains a set of runes each carved a different colored stone. Rashall starts whispering in a different language, but quiet enough that Uniqua's humming can still be heard. He inbues them with the rythem of the song and then watches as they fly around in the air in step with Uniqua's humming and the pitch of the song.

 

Uniqua thinks she hears whispers, but just continues humming, settling back in the couch.

 

The runes continue to fly around, though lower to the ground this time. Rashall gets up and walks over to the couch Uniqua is on and sits down besides her still listening to her song.

 

Uniqua feels Rashall sit next to her, and smiles slightly, nearing the end of the tune.

 

"Now then what's the smile for?" Asks Rashall seeing the runes land on the floor in a neat circle.

 

"Oh, nothing." Uniqua answers quietly.

 

Rashall simply smiles, "You can tell me I won't mind," he says getting a little closer to her.

 

"It was just a silly thought, nothing super important." Uniqua sighs, looking at him.

 

"If you say so," says Rashall he then notices that it's getting darker outside and that the wind has yet to let up, "Well then looks like we're in for a cold night. I'm going to go take a shower real quick, if you want I can sleep down here on a couch and leave you the bed on the third floor," says Rashall heading to the stairs.

 

"No, I can sleep on the couch. I'll be fine." she says.

 

"Or if you're feeling up to it we can share the bed I have no problem with it. Think about it and then tell me what your decision is when I get out of the shower," says Rashall walking up to the second floor.

 

Uniqua thinks about it while looking around. Reaching her decision, she begins to hum quietly once more.

 

Rashall lets the hot water just flow over him before getting soap and washing himself down. He soon steps out of the shower and dries off after which he walks back downstairs.

"So you decide yet?" Asks Rashall going and getting a drink of water before heading to bed.

 

"Well, it depends how cold it gets, but basically I'd be fine down here." Uniqua says, stopping her humming.

 

"Very well, but trust me it'll get cold down here that fire won't last all night. I'll be upstairs in the bed then, feel free to come in at any time just knock before entering," says Rashall heading upstairs to bed.

 

Uniqua wraps her scarf tighter around her and lays down, looking out the window.

 

Rashall falls straight to sleep as soon as he gets in bed. He gathers some of the covers around him to ensure that he stays warm.

 

Uniqua wakes up later at night, not because of cold, but she is a bit chilled. She adjusts her scarf and rolls over, falling asleep again.

 

Rashall gets up in the middle of the night out of habit. He went downstairs quietly with an extra blanket and put it over Uniqua after which he returned upstairs and promptly fell back to sleep.
