Uniqua rubs her eyes to wake up a little more. She scoots over in her large bed. Patting next to her, she says "Come, sit here. I know what it feels like to be homesick."
Rashall clambers into the bed and lies down looking up at the ceiling. "It's just what happened to my original home is still so vivid in my mind. I feel like I should have been able to do more then what I did do, sorry this probably means nothing to you I'll just go back to the guest room," says Rashall stirring.
"No, it's fine. Speaking our problems is one pf the best ways to help ease stress and pent up pain or guilt. Continue on, I think it'll help you a lot." Uniqua says quietly.
"Well my home was attacked had it not been for my warning it would have been taken by surprise. Instead a large battle ensued in which my home city was destroyed and my. . . my father was killed," says Rashall closing his eyes, "I had no choice but run, my friends told me to because I was said to be the savior of thousands," he continues starting to cry, "Sorry for breaking down like this."
Uniqua pats his back soothingly. "There. It's fine, it's fine. You can stay in here tonight if you'd like. But let me tell you- I'll be here if you want to talk about anything, get anything off you chest." Uniqua says.
"Heh thanks, for all of your help that is. I just don't want to feel like a burden to you. So I was wondering if I could tag along with you tomorrow, you know get to see more of the city," says Rashall a smile on his face.
"That's fine. I like to give tours of the city. I think you'll like it more than you think." Uniqua says, returning the smile.
Rashall looks back at her, "Well if you say so," he says laying back down and pulling up the covers, "Night Uniqua."
Rashall didn't have too much trouble sleeping that night, he noticed that in the morning it was colder than it had been and he knew today was going to be cold regardless of how sunny it was.
Uniqua woke up later than usual that morning. As she looked out her window, she noted to get out her scarf for the day.
Rashall was kneeling in front of the window in the small study bowed towards the sun. His cloak and vest where in front of him on a small table laid out nice and neat and his bag was on the couch behind him. There was utter silence in the room and it seemed as though the light from the sun was swirling around him stopping on his head and his cutie mark.
Uniqua walked downstairs, carrying her teal scarf on her back. She looked around, but didn't see Rashall anywhere. She decided she would give him his space for a while so she could make breakfast.
At the smell of food Rashall donned his vest and cloak and walked downstairs seeing Uniqua in the kitchen we walked over stopping at the entrance. "Good morning Uniqua I see you're not wasting anytime today. Need any help?" Says Rashall entering the kitchen itself and looking around.
"Well, if you don't mind, could you get out the plates? They're in the cabinet to the left of the sink." Uniqua says, pointing to the corresponding cabinet.
"Sure thing," says Rashall reaching up and getting the plates and setting them down on the table, "Anything else you need?" He asks entering the kitchen again.
"Nope, but thanks for offering." Uniqua says, beginning to set food on the table. Several hay-related foods, including regular hay, were set on the table. "Heh, hope you don't hay, it's really the only cheap thing in Manehatten." Uniqua says, slightly embarrassed.
"It's okay, but if you don't mind I brought some batter for a specialty of mine if you're willing to try it I could fix it for you," says Rashall rummaging through his bag that he had set in the dinning room.
