Uniqua's cheeks lightly flush. She sheepishly smiles, hoping he'll think it's just the cold weather. "Thanks." She pauses at the beginning of the alleyway leading to the streets. "You ready?" she asks Rashall.
As she walks down the alleyway, the air feels slightly warmer. Glancing at a barrel with wisps of smoke emerging from it, she comments "Hm. The homeless ponies kept their fires going longer last night. Smart of them"
Yeah. But it's always pretty cold out here, today just happens to be a bit colder than normal." Uniqua says, coming upon the busy streets.
Rashall walks up to her side, "Ughh I really don't like the streets and sidewalks of cities sometimes," he says looking at all the ponies moving to and fro.
Uniqua gives him a sly smile. "Just stick close to me and you won't have to worry about being crowded." She steps into the middle of the walking ponies. Almost instantly they clear out and give her some space.
Rashall keeps pace with Uniqua step for step. "Now then what is all this about?" He asks gesturing at the ponies parting before her.
"I seriously think we need to discuss that then, though I think they would part for me as well," says Rashall.
Uniqua sighs. "No, it would be different. I know almost everypony here, and well, I yell rather loudly."
"Well I see a trio that will not part for you up ahead," says Rashall pointing towards three ponies that are but a few paces away.
Uniqua sees them as well, but just continues walking. "So, you three must be new here." she says, stopping in front of them.
"Wolf-n-Mane what are you Shark Mouth and Skyblue doing here?" Says Rashall asking his three friends what they where up to before they could answer Uniqua. "Just checking up on you, these two wanted to tag along with me on this little errand. Just thought you should know that the others in the woods hope you're having a good time," says Wolf-n-Mane the other two nod their consent before the three of them leave. "Sorry about that, my friends have a habit of checking up on me out of the blue," says Rashall turning to address Uniqua.
Uniqua smiled. "I'm glad you know them, then. Nopony stays in my way, but you probably guessed that by now."
"I see, oh and another thing I found out about you today, you are very cute when you blush," says Rashall walking forwards.
Uniqua felt the blood rise to her cheeks at his comment. "And you bring that up now?" she questions, trying to hide her cheeks beneath her scarf.
Rashall stops and turns around a smile on his face as he sees Uniqua trying to hide her cheeks underneath her scarf. "Huh, yeah I guess I did, but it looks like it's true as well," he says walking back to her side, "So why are you trying to hide from a compliment?"
