Rashall smiles slightly and then sighs looking at the sky, "Is it getting late already?" He asks noting the time on a near by building.
"Oh never mind it's only four in the evening we still have plenty of time. Do you still want to come over to my place, if so we need think about turning in soon as we will have to leave early tomorrow," says Rashall.
Uniqua throws her last slice of bread. "I guess we could go home now, if you want to." She says, putting the empty bag in her saddle bags.
"I'll take that as a yes then, sure lets head on back. By the way what's for dinner?" Asks Rashall his stomach growling a little.
"Hm, I don't know. If you haven't noticed, I do have quite a lot of hay. I'll find something interesting to do with it." She says, shrugging.
"Hope you still have some money for tomorrow and when we get to where I live," says Rashall keeping pace with Uniqua.
"Oh, that was only what I brought with me today. I could give away money for the rest of my life and still live in luxury, since my parents won't let me work." Uniqua says flatly.
"Now that I would like to hear the story behind, unless of course you wished not to talk about it," says Rashall.
"No, I don't mind, but let's get to my house first." Uniqua says, coming upon the alleyway that led to her house.
Uniqua walks slowly up the path. She takes a moment to stop at her mailbox, taking out a few ads. "Why am I getting more and more of these?" she asks no one.
"Well, uh, I just.." Uniqua sighs. "Just let me show you." She lets out a light, airy whistle. Suddenly, a peacock peeks out from behind a bush. It flutters over to her, and lets out a questioning coo. Uniqua smiles and digs around in her saddle bags, and pulls out a small pouch. She empties the contents in front of the peacock, then whistles again and walks up to Rashall. "Yeah, peacocks are a family thing. It's where my name comes from, based on the beauty of the birds."
"Ah I think I understand, but not wholly though it is a pretty bird and you are a pretty mare," says Rashall with a slight smile.
Uniqua burrows under her scarf. "T-thanks." She says, muffled by her scarf. Try as she may to hide it, her blush was still visible.
